Hello Tjemsy,

I'm very sorry for your loss.   :-[  Keeping your uncle, you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.  May Yinepu watch over him as he begins his 70 day journey.

Hello all

Feliway was a good suggestion.   Yes it was!  I'm using it now for my household as I have 3 cats currently. All are rescues (9 years later) but all have their own little anxiety issues.   The girl Mau Mau just had a vet visit last week due to crystals in her urine so the Feliway was suggested to me to help with her anxiety.  It seems to be working on all 3 of them.

Keeping your kitty in my prayers that the anxiety level goes down.

Em hotep all,

Great thread :)

I have 4 beloveds currently so I try to offer my services when I can as a devotional offering.  For one of the beloveds Bast, I too work with strays and shelters when I can. I've personally rescued 10 cats since I moved from AK to AZ (and everywhere in between).  For Yinepu I do the dead work.  I visit cemetaries and offer cool water and clean off headstones/markers when I'm out on the weekends.   I will also be getting my death midwifery/funeral service started up this year and all of that work will be offered to my Father Yinepu for my service.

I plan on offering this to the members here in the House of Netjer as part of that service in the near future.   For public volunteer events I do that for Amun as he seems to like work done for the public, in the public.  For Hethert, its about the love and spreading that love and caring to others both in the House and out of the House.

Thanks everyone else for posting your thoughts here ...it's refreshing to see what others are doing out there in the name of Netjer.

Hi Khai,

I'm sorry to hear about your parents passing.   Losing all of them to cancer is a hard thing to bear and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.   I'm looking forward to hearing from you and Djedet on a more regular basis.

Regarding the kids ..time does that ...but still it's been quite the ride I'm sure.  My grandkids are now 15 and 12 ..I don't know where the time went.  I do remember meeting Sadie way back when ...congrats on the kids getting to adulthood in one piece.

Talk with you again soon.

Hello all,

I just watched my news here in Arizona.  It said that Harvey is a now a Category 4 hurricane with disaster estimates in the millions.

I will add prayers that Wepwawet keeps the way open so that folks are able to get out of the way and be safe during the storm(s).

Hello all,

I pick up shrine items at assorted pagan-ish shops as well, smoke shops (incense), local fairs, swap meets and online.   If I remember correctly Hemet showed us a small travel shrine box at Retreat that comes with the candle, incense and has room for a small picture or statue.  She was going to look into seeing if she could get them for her store.

I like to be diversified when I look for items for my shrines.   Thanks for all the good ideas here.

Neheh,

I'm so sorry to hear Julia has not been feeling well.  I will keep you both in my prayers.  I hope she gets better soon.  May Wepwawet keep the way open so the doctors can figure out the best course of treatment for her and get her on the road to recovery.

Hugs

Meres
