Greetings
« on: June 15, 2017, 04:54:13 pm »
Good evening,

I am new to Kemeticism. I found today the permission to access this forum so I gave into my curiosity and hopped by.

The Netjeru closest to my heart are Hatmehyt and Djehuty. I worship them (and the others)  in a shrine I set up in my home.

Loving books as I do, I have been reading quite a bit since realizing the Netjeru are there (Djehuty was throwing them at me consistently for a while). Especially on Ma'at as it seems to be quite a hefty subject.

Hence I call myself for now Shewhoseeks (Knowledge). Knowledge as solid foundation for my faith.

Looking forward to where this path may lead me.

Cu :)

Em Hotep!

Welcome! I'm glad you gave into your curiosity to visit our forums, you'll find lots of wonderful people here!

Reading books with a kinship with Djehuty sounds like they go hand in hand :) I don't hear much about Hatmehyt, though, so I'd love to hear more about your relationship with Netjer and your personal experiences working with Her!

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Hatmehyt actually was the first to enter my life during shamanic travel.
Djehuty was more to the point. He shook me up while reading on Him. It took me a few days to return to normal after that.

On Her I wrote a bit in my blog. She is subtle and I have to listen attentively.  But her laughter is sublime :D I love her dearly.

Welcome and Emhotep!

I agree with Tamiwi. Having Divine Djehuty as a kinship is very magical and wonderful. Divine Djehuty is a personal god for me. He is very protective and loving. This is because I am also in the service to divine Sesheta. Divine Djehuty is always near.  Enjoy the forums!

Senebty,

Lita

Thank you Lita! Djehuty is absolutely one of those presences who can be protective and wise in his love. After-all, he saw the beauty in potential in all the world even when the "odds" seemed against it, at least in lore ;)

Shewhoseeks, that sounds wonderful! Laughter is the kindest thing we can give to this life, and having it provided to us as well by Netjer is a part of healing in and of itself. Nothing feeds a Ka like laughter :)

Thank you :D

I am currently going through the forums, reading :)  On Hatmehyt there seems not to be much. How come?

Djehuty can be a strict teacher though - when my journey started he was quite pushy. Things cooled down a bit, thankfully, since I started reading on Ma'at.
