Em hotep Zaituwy.  I love your shrine, especially your Renenutet candle holder (which is currently on my Amazon list) and really love that obelisk.  Where on earth did you get that one?  I've never seen one that big before.

Em hotep Padememheru and thank you for your compliment.  I will give you the website for the obelisk they are still standing in Heliopolis today.  Don't forget they ounce worshiped energy that was spinning around the obelisk.  I believe it was the energy of Netjer and Amun.  The prayers are put on all sides of the obelisk and the rotation of Geb spins the prayers together to create the Heka.  It is the Egyptians witches bowl if you will at least that is my take on it.

Thanks Zaituwy, and you're welcome too.  :)  Kind of figures the obelisk is from Design Toscano.  They usually have a pretty good selection of items like that.  A friend of mine got a full size Kemetic coffin from them once, as well as a life size Yinepu statue too.

Very nice shrine, Zaituwy (and everyone who has posted previously)! I love seeing how everyone honors the gods.

Em hotep nefer, all! :)

Because I've been recovering from surgery (and a post-op infection), I haven't been able to do formal Senut-shrine stuff and won't be able to for roughly another full week. As such, I've been focusing a lot more on my informal shrine.

My Father Set looked so lovely in the morning light yesterday as I was offering Him cedar incense, I couldn't help but take a picture and share. <3

More of a close-up today than I usually take of my Wepwawet shrine. But I wanted a picture of the inside of the “holy of holies” with the ‘water’-lily in the foreground.

I always love to see pictures of your shrine, Bezenwepwy. You've made a truly beautiful space for Wepwawet. <3

I am incredibly jealous of all the spectacular shrines that have been shown on here!

I never felt entirely comfortable or satisfied with my "open air" altar (which I posted on here a bit back), so I have begun experimenting with ways to have a more personal and tight shrine. Below is the third iteration of my shrine set up. I stained/painted the box and plan on adding some symbols to the inside with gold in the near future. As the post says, it is a modest start, but I am loving the potential it has for growth. :-)
