it's labeled Osiris, but the plumes made me think Amun and the sidelock made me think Khonsu or Heru-pa-khered. guesses?

Wow, I really don't know. He's definitely a child. He's got the sidelock and the pointed finger thing that makes me think of Dr. Evil, but means you're a kid. But the plumes have me stumped.

My guess would be Khonsu, because He's got the Amun-plumes, but is a kid. That's a really strange statue.

Em Hotep,

I'm thinking possibly Heru-pa-khered, except for the plumes.

Does anyone know what period this icon is dated? It could be a Hellenisitic period icon of " Harporcrates", the Hellenistic God of silence, who is a Greek adaptation of the child form of Heru-pa-khered. The gesture with the finger is also sometimes called " The sign of silence" in Western mystery schools. I have also seen icons of Harporcrates before with different types of headdresses... just an idea..

There's a hawk-headed Khonsu with plumes here.

There's also this one, who has quite the hat.

I don't know why but maybe it's just because my Min has plumes with the flat hat thingy, that's what it reminds me of...

Looks like something straight out of a Vegas show at the Luxor.

Here is a similiar statue and it is labelled as Heru-Pa-Khrered.
The crown is definetely unusual, Heru-Pa-Khered is usually depected with the double crown

Sandra Sandri writes in her book Heru-Pa-Khered that "Heru-Pa-Kkeret, the great one, the firstborn of Amun" was a common Epithet of Heru-Pa-Kheret. (e.g. p. 29)
From the 26th Dynasty on the title "the great one, the firstborn of Amun" was transferred to Heru-Pa-Khered, his right and legitimacy to rule Egypt was attributed like the one of the living king to the birth legend of Amun. (p.149)

Oh wow, Tanebet! That almost looks like the same statue as the one Ubenet posted! It looks like that is most likely Heru-pa-Khered then.

One thing is certain: that is almost definitely not Wesir. wink
