Stephanie Guest Registered: 06/10/12 Posts: 3 Loc: West Virginia, USA (184.14.89.166)	Hey everybody! My name is Stephanie and I just discovered this site and kemet.org earlier today. I've been looking for a religion like KO for a very long time. I'm 23 years old and live with my boyfriend. I would like to go to school and become an Egyptologist, but going back to college is uncertain in the future right now. To do so we would have to move to another state, and I'm just enjoying studying my interestes on my own time. As for KO, I know I have a lot to learn, but I'm very excited to find something that feels so right and fills that spiritual void. I already filled out an application for the next beginners class, does anybody know when the next one starts? On the website it said Sept of 2011. I don't mean to come across as impatient, but I'm very excited to begin!

So the next one will be several months out, not sure exactly how many, but I'm sure someone will come along that knows. The current class just got underway, so the next one should be starting in September or October of 2012. The classes are 10 lessons/weeks long, maybe longer if a week or two are missed for holidays and whatnot. August is our Retreat to Tawy House in IL, so we always miss at least one week then. You can contact Rev. Marie Parsons at revmparsons@kemet.org to see if there's a chance to join the current class as it just got started, but the approval process does take a little time so I wouldn't want to promise anything. It may be better for you to wait for the next class and spend the time reading up on our sites and getting to know everyone. I believe that I'll try to be patient and wait until the next class starts and try to study up more on Ancient Egypt. There is so much to learn! I was even thinking about taking one of the snail-mail courses on languages in the meantime.
