Well I have searched through the forums and couldn't find much discussions about Mafdet. I find her really interesting and would love to know any personal thoughts on her.

I also popped onto Wepwawet wiki ( http://www.wepwawet.org/wiki/index.php?title=Mafdet ) and there isn't any offerings listed so I would appreciate any ideas

Meat would definitely be a good offering, and I would think Wine too. I'm sure some kids/beloveds of Mafdet will jump on here with more definite ideas for you soon.

You're right- there really isn't much on the forums about Mafdet. There is only, to my knowledge, one divined child of Mafdet in the House, and as far as I know I'm Her only Beloved... so far, of course!

As far as personal experiences go (your mileage may vary, of course!), I adore Mafdet. She is one Goddess who, for me, comes up without warning sometimes to imbue me with energy and enthusiasm. She is in every aspect "the runner," which for me has presented as Her being rather hyperactive, playful, and somewhat mischievous. This, of course, is not Her only side. She is also FIERCELY protective and definitely an agent of Ma'at, in the sense that She takes it upon herself to help keep justice and order in place.

In my experience She has always come to me as a Cheetah. Colors She likes are black, gold tones, and red. I've offered Her gemstones in the past, and two that She seems to enjoy quite a bit are mahogany obsidian and tiger iron. She does enjoy sharp, pointy things, particularly daggers over larger blades like swords.

If you guys have any ideas for offerings for Mafdet, I'll gladly add them to the WepwaWiki. Right now, I glean offerings from posts made on the House forums or by talking to children/beloveds of a god(dess).

I imagine her as the cheetah too. Funnily enough I was thinking of Tigers Eye when I was imagining what she would like.. and Sharp pointy things dont suprise me hehe Thanks for sharing your thoughts on her it really did help

For offerings, I've found meat (beef and chicken in particular), red wines, dark chocolate, and oranges are welcomed. I haven't tried it, but blood oranges hit me as being particularly appropriate. She also loved the painting that I did of Her, so add creative works dedicated to her to that list.
