Em hotep, everybody. I'm Firebird, and I've never been very good at introducing myself - I think that I'll just write something short, otherwise I'll end up rambling on about, say, my favourite ice cream flavour (banana, by the way), and we won't get anywhere significant.

I've always had a strong connection to Ancient Egypt, and even though I spent quite a while identifying as a Christian, I have always found myself attempting to honour Netjer in some way or another. I presently feel closest to Wesir and Djehuty - namely to Wesir - and I am interested in seeing, if I find the time to be able to dedicate myself fully to the beginner's course, which other Names I may end up stumbling upon.

I look forward to meeting you all. I hope that my time on these forums is positive.

Em Hotep and welcome to the boards.

The beginner class isn't that time intensive. There are 10 weekly lessons and chats and for people not being able to attend the chats a log will be provided.
