Title: "Royal Child" Yinepu?
Post by: Rehenhersenu on December 09, 2015, 05:30:16 pm
Em hotep everyone,

Sometimes I see the quality "Royal child" as a description or form of Yinepu. I'm a little confused as to what this means in his behavior/interactions with him. Are there certain personality traits that accompany the Royal Child form or certain likes/dislikes? Is this another form of Yinepu or just a set of traits sometimes exhibited?

Thank you!

In the Middle Kingdom he was considered the son of Ra.  But the most popular myth has him as a son of Osiris.  Both Ra and Osiris are kings so therefore Yinepu is a Royal Child.  Yinepu also means royal child, just as Aset means throne.

A few people get him as Royal Child.
They may chime in, but from what I understand in this role is a more childlike. He smiles, plays games, teases, or is just more playful or light hearted.
