Title: my mother's estate
Post by: alae93 on October 01, 2017, 01:24:14 pm
I am preparing to head back south to Chicago to prep my mother's house for sale.  (I have never worked on a house before and have no idea wtf I'm doing)

It is very stressful to be down there for me for many reasons.  There's a lot of unresolved issues in my family and tbh I've wondered about if some unruly Akhu are hindering the project.

This summer I sprained or broke (we don't know, but it was bad) my ankle falling down the stairs while carrying a load of things.  About a month later I got into an accident that totaled my mother's car.  More recently, the handyman I hired to work on the house blew off the project entirely.

Regardless of the origins of the problems, the whole project has been very slow, and things have felt very inauspicious.  And while I've been dealing with this my life has been on hold.

But this is the last hurrah.  Please pray for me, for open roads, no accidents, and a clear and easy path forward, so I can resume the work of living.

Prayers that you are safe and well, and that everything proceeds swiftly and smoothly. May Wepwawet clear all obstacles from your path, and Set give you strength. <3

That sounds like an absolutely awful time you're having. Sending prayers so that everything may go smoother for you and that everything is resolved in your favor.
