Title: Parts of kemetic soul
Post by: Sha'ersenu on October 23, 2018, 02:17:31 pm
Em Hotep!

Does the Kemetic Orthodoxy consider one of the parts of the soul as the cristian people call the guardian angel?

Thank you a lot!

To my knowledge, not in the literal sense.  But we do have helpful spirits that we call Netjeri, that can take a protective role in several areas of our life. The possibilities of the Netjeri in our lives are so varied and many, it is hard to address them in this simple comment of mine.  But you can always ask them to help provide protection.  One example (of many instances) is your Car.  You can begin a relationship with a Netjeri to watch over your car, and you while you drive.  If you take care of them with a bit of attention, and some offerings, they will help take care of you.
