Title: Hello everyone!

Em Hotep

My name is Alex and I'm new to this whole "religion" thing, but I'm really excited for the Beginner's Class!

I grew up in a culturally Christian but spiritually nothing household in Ohio, so I've never really practiced any religion at all, or believed in much of anything.  I've been interested in Pagan religions and Buddhism since high school as an intellectual thing, and I learned about Kemetic Orthodoxy a loooong time ago, but something drew me back to it this year.  I'm feeling a strong connection to Set, so we'll see what happens.

I'm 28, and I live in Indiana in the US.  I teach Junior and Senior English at a kind of rural high school, and I live with my partner of 8 years, and our two cats.  I like to play video games, cook and eat food, and pretend I'm a writer!  It's nice to meet all of you.
