Title: Howdy
Post by: Val on June 24, 2020, 10:33:17 am
Em hotep !! I figured to make an introduction now that I'm a Remetj. I'm rather unfamiliar with posting to forums so I apologize for mistakes.

My name is Val, I'm agender (It/Its), and I currently reside in Florida. I'm painfully shy but I'm hoping to be able to overcome that.

That aside, I work primarily with Set at the moment. I had worked with Anubis for a long time until Set invited himself into my life a bit over a year ago. Since then he's grown to be almost like a father to me. If anyone would like to chat with me about him, I'd love to hear from you !

I'm so very happy to be here and I look forward to meeting you all !!

Em hotep, Val! It's nice to meet you! You're in good company here as someone who works with Set! 8)

Em hotep!! "Set invited Himself" is a great way to put most people's introductions to Set (including my own). Nice to meet you!

Em hotep and welcome Val. I too am familiar with Set "inviting" Himself! Yinepu is my Father, Set is a prominent part of my Netjer family.

He is quite endearing:)

Em hotep and welcome, Val!

I too can attest to the 'loudness' of Set!  :)

Em hotep and welcome! Honestly, one of the things I love about the Netjeru is that They like to 'invite themselves' in! :)

Hello, it's very nice to meet you!  (And by the way, Set did something very similar with me a few years ago!)

ii-wy em hotep!

I've never met anyone in my travels using the "Its" pronoun, that is very interesting :) I love learning new things from new people.  I imagine that must be even harder to explain to others than for us non-binary people using They/Them in the singular form.

May you always be met with acceptance and love <3

Thank you all for the kind welcomes!
It's so great to hear others had similar experiences with Set. It's such an endearing trait of his for sure, and I couldn't be happier to have it happen to me!

It's a pretty uncommon set of pronouns for sure, have only come across a few other people that used them myself! I'm glad I was able to introduce you to something new. It's a little awkward to explain, but it's nice to have places that will accept me for who I am. ^^
