I am an independent researcher with a special interest in Egyptian tombs.
I am interested in everything about Ancient Egypt.
I hope to find members in this forum with whom I can communicate extensively on various topics of Ancient Egypt.

Em hotep and welcome!

Which are your favorite tombs?  (I'm partial to those of Horemheb and Nefertari. (I've never visited, but enjoy seeing photos others have taken.)  The images are good for inspiring art.)

Senebty,
Neheh....

My favorite tombs in the Valley of the Kings are : Ramesses VI (KV9),Horemheb (KV57),Seti I (KV17),
Tausert and Seknakht and Ramesses I (KV16).
In the Valley of the Queens my favorite tombs are:Khaemwaset(QV44) and Nefertari(QV66).
I visited QV66 in 2011 and in 2013.
In 2011 and 2013, I paid LE 500 each time for a 10-minute visit.
Paying LE 500 for a 10 minute visit was not worth it as the tomb of Nefertari has been largely destroyed.
In my opinion a visit to QV66 was much too expensive at the time.
My favorite tombs in Deir el-Medina are: Pasedu(TT3) and Sennedjem (TT1).

Yes. I came for wanting to know what was written on the walls (Old Kingdom FTW!), stayed for the gripping stories.
