« on: February 15, 2017, 08:41:50 am »
One of my beloveds is Wesir-Sokar, the "growing" or "creation" style Wesir. I sense him as a green skinned Wesir, his essence between the fertile soil and the dark green stems of plants where the sun doesn't directly hit. He has loved a handful of rich soil or seeds as offerings from me as well as things handmade and cool water. Personality wise, I experience him as a quieter, contemplative and observing entity. I have experienced him as lively on occasions, but this is my general feeling with him. I hope that helps a little!

Kind regards,
Satsenu

Bast is my Mother and She brought me to the HoN. I'd be glad to talk to you about anything regarding Her. :) Feel free to send me a message if you have questions or just to chat.

My situation is a little different for the time being. Due to space issues, I have a boxed shrine for senut. When not in use, everything is stored back in its place til the next use. However, I do have a small shelf that holds my statues, which you can see in my avatar pic. :) It is temporary for now, but They don't mind. I'm dual parented (Wepwawet and Bast) and dual beloved-ed. Is that even a word? Anyway... My Parents have larger statues that are the same size and type and my beloved statues are smaller but equated. Everything seems to work well for now. I believe that since harmony, organization, and order is important to me, They work with what I can provide. As for what I use to represent them in my shrine box, Everyone has a small stone that all end up in the same bag. :) Feel free to message me if you'd like me to explain something more/a bit better!

Senebty,
Satsenu

**edit to add: As for who I concentrate on during senut, I focus on Netjer as a whole. During the later part of senut, depending on various factors, I may make special offerings for my Parents, but not often... I usually am only able to offer small things like water. Every gesture is appreciated though and They know I carry them in my heart. :)

I have that or the scent of cologne happen a fair bit as well. I usually just smile and say hi and welcome whoever it is, be they a Name or an akhu, to feel free to reach out if they'd like to talk. :)

I am close to a fair few, but none of them are in my line up. :)

Water, meat, perfumes, sharp objects... to name a few off the top of my head. :)

Lovely job! As for ideas, I think that whatever you do would be immensely generous. :)

« on: September 05, 2014, 11:17:32 pm »
My Da is Wepwawet. :)

You'll have to forgive any ramblings since I am responding via my mobile...

How do I perceive Wepwawet. In short, He comes to me as a warrior shaman and leader. He is very much a teacher with me, always wanting me to explore paths, but reminding me to not ask questions I really don't want to hear the answers to. I have seen him in a few different forms (personal upg). I see him as an Ethiopian wolf, an Ethiopian wolf headed man, or a dark skinned man in cultural garb. This will differ on what he is portraying to me at any given time. I will cut this short here, but please feel free to drop me a message with any questions. :)

Senebty,
Satsenu

I believe the Set animal is the Salawa, which is either an extinct or incredibly rare (think cryptozoology) canine type creature. Not sure if I would say specifically canine though. I've dealt a little with the "Set-beast" in heka and it feels unlike any other creature I have ever worked with. :)

« on: September 16, 2013, 03:45:59 pm »
I feel as though it is a personal decision. The gods want what is best for you. If toxicity of family is causing you harm in any way to the point that you want to legitly leave them after much consideration and discussion, then that is what you should do. Personally, I do not have a connection to my biological father's side due to domestic violence and absolute disolving of truth and trust. Do what is best for you and your well being.
