My problems usually come from atheists or rather, anti-theists. They can get quite angry at any sort of religious person but paganism and polytheism always seems extra illogical to them. I never mention my religion to people so why anti-theists always need to bring religion into our conversations is beyond me.

I've had no judgement from Christians in my family, including my Church of England husband (he goes to church every Sunday, mens prayer group on a Wednesday, and Christian Union at work on a Tuesday, so he's quite devout).

It's very sad that your grandmother is so against your new found beliefs. If you are not hurting anyone and you are generally being a good person, why does it matter?

A huge and sincere thank you for all your prayers and comfort. Baby was delivered last Thursday by forceps. She wasn't supposed to be here till the 22nd but my waters went early and I had to be induced. After a short stay in hospital we are all home and getting used to our new life.

(I'd post a picture but can't figure it out - baby brain!)

May Bast continue to watch over your fur baby. My fluffy man had a serious UTI a few years back and it was heart wrenching. He's now got a sweet little water fountain to encourage him to drink and we've not had any problems since.

Wow, thank you so much! I'm just off to peruse the links and ponder it's meaning.

I had a dream the other night. I won't got into details but there was a lady in the dream who was introduced as Isis-Hathor. I woke up feeling very odd and mentioned to my husband that I'd never heard of the two being joined before. A little bit of research and, lo and behold, there She is!

Does anyone have any info/UPG or links on Aset-Hethert? Do you think it's important that the Greek names were used or no?

Thanks in advance.

I can't do much myself for various health and financial reasons, but I have been supporting my husband in his charity endeavours. He started sponsoring a little girl in Somalia last year and I hope to be able to craft some things to send to her family. He's also getting more involved in his church and I encourage him in that (buying mince pies for local children, clearing the graveyard etc)

Thank you everyone! I think your prayers may have saved us both in the last few days. On Wednesday night I started getting cramps that I assumed were signs of an upset tummy. I spent the next hour in agony to the point where I thought I was going to pass out. I ended up on all fours pushing against my will. Ambulance was called and I was whisked off to the labour ward (not getting political but may the gods bless the NHS!)

Both baby and I had elevated heart rates (I think someone said tachycardia) and I had a very high temperature. Luckily I had wonderful team working simultaneously round me. They stopped the labour and discovered I have a nasty infection. I was kept in hospital for two days whilst they monitored me and baby. We're home with lots of antibiotics and bruises but baby is where she is meant to be at 32 weeks and kicking happily.

Again, thank you so much and DUA NETJER!

Another update:
I am now approaching 32 weeks and, despite this being a difficult pregnancy, all is well with baby. I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes in late December, I'm also on iron supplements for anaemia. Baby has given us a few scares by not moving but a strong heartbeat has been found each time.

I was recently taken to A&E (the ER?) with severe pains that were initially thought to be a clot in my lung. Luckily everything was clear and the doc thinks it may be gallstones. Nothing they can do till baby is safely out, I just have to try to live with the pain.

We found out a few weeks back that baby is a little girl. This is very interesting as in 2007, long before I thought about children, I got the feeling/a message that my first daughter should be dedicated to Hethert, and called the Grace of Hethert. Little one does like her music! This is something I shall be praying/doing divination about to see if the message was genuine.

Thank you all for your prayers!

Yay! Congratulations! I've been a guest here for nearly twelve years and am contemplating sending my application in. (I did fill it in once but never sent it.) It's nice to know I'm not the only one who likes to mull things over! :)

Dua Netjer for Dr Banks, what a star! Prayers for Friend. My fluffy boy, Draven, had awful UTI issues a few years back. We were very fortunate that some meds and a kitty fountain put him right. I hope you get a similar happy outcome.

I'm going to filch and change a saying I saw in a magazine recently: When Netjer send waves, learn to surf. Sending prayers, strength, and a mental surf board to help you through these difficult times.

As someone who comes from a long line of people who suffered with mental health problems (my great-grandmother even had electro-shock therapy), and who is still dealing with their own problems after ten years, let me say you have my heartfelt sympathies.

I'm not great at writing prayers but I will say "May Serqet and Sekhmet work in unison to help give your loved ones peace of mind and good health"

I just wanted to say thank you again for all your prayers. We've had a tough couple of weeks; one of our cats was in hospital with liver problems (luckily she's been given the all clear) and I ended up at the Early Pregnancy Unit. I had what I assumed was a miscarriage and was pretty down.

Yesterday I went to have a scan to find out what was happening and we heard a heartbeat. Baby Lucky is measuring at 6 weeks and three days, with a heart rate of 121bpm. I'm still on bed rest but, after seven years of trying, this is the furthest we've ever got.

Dua Netjer!
