I see my lineup as all three interchangeably. When inspiration to draw them hits me it could be any form but I suppose Bast and Yinepu are the ones most commonly seen as anthro. When they talk to me it's usually just their head popping in like some spiritual FaceTime, or they are their animal. For more serious and official meetings they seem to always have human bodies. Except for Taweret who is always full animal for some reason.

Hethert or Khepera would be nice when looking at what is going on in my life. But overall when I look at the larger picture I still get a feeling of "things need to get done and be finished for good". Ra and a few of his Eyes come to mind.

3
Set or maybe Wepwawet. Wesir would make sense though.

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Re: Suggestions for Wep Ronpet?
« on: July 01, 2016, 02:10:39 pm »
Smashing clay pots is our favorite thing to do in my house for Wep Ronpet. We tend to destroy them with bottle rockets, which my husbands absolutely loves. So I definitely recommend Turning the Dangers of the Year. Since we aren't too big on cake I was also going to go find gummy worms or snakes and pretty much do the same thing with them as the cake.

Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories for the PS I was never able to defeat. Bakura was too strong! If I ever get the chance again I should try to replay the game.

Oh man it's bean years since I've touched my dueling deck. As a kid seeing a show that had Ancient Egyptian elements in it was an instant attention grabber. Dragons and pharaohs, what could be better? I haven't watched the last one or two series since there wasn't enough Ancient Egyptian themes to keep my interest. It would be interesting go back and and rewatch or read the originals. I don't even think I could find my cards anymore and I honestly can't remember my favorite deck or card.

So many people on Tumblr seemed to love my little shrine houses so I think I'll share it here too!

[PUBLIC] Welcome! / Re: Hello, Zuko here!

Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you although perhaps I've already have? Any kind of daemon reference makes me think of my other community I'm a part of. I go by Tashepsut here but Kit is probably the quicker and most common name I go by. I also have a companion who is comparable to a daemon, his name is Cayde. I hope your health improves and the beginner's class goes well. Perhaps you will be in the same class as my husband if he does decide to sign up.

[PUBLIC] FAQ: RPD (Rite of Parent Divination) / Re: RPDs this week

Nekhtet! Can't wait to hear the results.

The only connection I can attempt to make is with Hatshepsut. We share "shepsut" in our name but that's stretching it I think. I've always been drawn to Akhenaten on a purely artistic level. His statues and the change in art during his reign is probably my favorite "style" of Kemet. Otherwise I have never felt a draw towards any pharoph on a personal level, nor do I feel particularly protected or watched by them.

I agree with Rev. Maretemheqat. Branch out and look at their different aspects. For me I connect with Taweret by being patient, strong, and looking out for others. She ask that I be a defender and a nurturer. You could also volunteer at an animal shelter or wildlife sanctuary if you are feeling a pull towards babies. There are plenty of times where you will be asked to help care for and protect baby animals. Babies are babies no matter the species. Even volunteering at after-school events or clubs at a local elementary school could be an outlet for that kind of connection to Taweret and Heqat. Or focus on environmental volunteer work that involve keeping the waters around you clean and pure. Those are physical ways you might connect with them.

When I was a small child I absolutely loved Bast. Her and Yinepu where my all time favorite gods and I never realised how strange it was for my age that I even knew about them as much as I did. I owe my history teacher Great Aunt for my interest in Ancient Egypt. It got to the point where I would daydream about being there and being told I was the daughter of Bast. I acted out grand scenarios like any child would during play. Did I build a personal relationship with her before I even realised it was possible? I can't help but wonder if by doing so destined myself to be her daughter now. It's a funny coincidence that I forgot go mention on my last post.

Wow my experience with Bast and Yinepu feels very different. Bast has yet to share any kind of mischief or humor. But I don't think she's easily offended and cat jokes about her seem to not cause issue. I'm sure the mischief is there I've just yet to catch Mom off duty I guess.

Yinepu doesn't feel serious, or even classy. He is crazy at times, casual and laid-back mostly, and loves a good joke. He's super active and feels like he's looking not just for new opportunities for me, he's looking for fun. Yinepu is the most relaxed, playful Netjer I've met yet. The only time I've experienced his more formal side was when I was led through my meditation by him, but even then he didn't feel like that was how he was all the time. I've yet to figure out exactly what his taste in jokes are but I get the impression puns are on the top of his list.

Yinepu I'll always feel closest to I predict. He's become quieter to give me a chance to connect with Bast but I still feel most at ease with Him. He's so easy to talk to and I feel like I can be "casual" and joke around as if He was a brother or some crazy uncle. I constantly have new things to learn and new paths to forge or follow and I feel like Yinepu is there for each new experience I gain.

Of course I love Taweret and my Mother but it's not the same ease of communication and it's harder to tell if They are happy with the choices I make. Ra as well is kind of an enigma. I feel like He wants something from me but it usually turns in to me buying Him stuff  and I don't think that is necessarily what He was going for. Sekhmet also pops into my thoughts a lot. It's really strange but She's been very prominent lately.

I now associate Bast with our local bobcats and my black house cat. I don't hear Her but I get strong waves of emotion when in shrine, and anytime my cat suddenly decides out of the blue that she wants something I'm eating or drinking I feel Bast might be requesting it as an offering. Speaking to me through something I've already got a strong connection to would be rather effective and clever.

I don't really see Her either, but the strongest impressions received have been through songs on the radio. I'll get a mental tug as she wraps her arms around my emotions and we begin to dance in the back of my head. Her face is never clear but the joy she seems to have interacting with me in such a way is overwhelming at times, even if I can only focus on it for a few seconds.
