[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Shrine
« on: July 18, 2015, 05:49:48 pm »
I've been arranging and rearranging my shrines recently. Is it OK to have one shrine dedicated to more than one Netjeri? Does my shrine have to be covered? Thanks!

Does anybody know of any reliable and good online sources where I can find Ancient (Egyptian) texts?

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Re: Jesus

Oh I'm by no means a Christian. Djehuty comes before all other deities. Jesus is the only non-Egyptian deity I pray to.

Jesus plays a huge role in my life. Is it strange that I pray to him regularly? I don't know why but I feel like the Netjeru are telling me something... Feel free to share your thoughts  ;D

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Kemetic Paths

How does Kemetic Orthodoxy view other Kemetic faiths (excluding Tameran Wicca or other Egyptian forms of Wicca)? Just curious.

I love too cook and food. That makes food a HUGE part of my spiritual life. I have a few quick questions: 1). What the Kemetic people eat? 2). How did they prepare their food (ie grill, open fire, raw...)? 3). Can you point me to some resources on this topic? Thanks!

I am interested in the subject of heka. Can somebody point me to online articles? Books aren't an option due to budgetary concerns. Thank you ☺️

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Bast
« on: July 02, 2015, 04:28:11 pm »
I started honoring Bast today. She grew on me while I was honoring Djehuty. What does Bast like?

I worship Dhehuty first and foremost. He appeared in one of dreams a while back. It took me about a year to realize that he was calling me! I am also honoring Bast. Djehuty is also encouraging me to worship the other Gods of Hermopolis.

How does one celebrate Wep Ronpet? I know how to figure it but am at a loss on the how side of things.

I am not a beginner per se. I am, however, new to this forum. My journey began with Djehuty. Before really committing my life to him, I would occasionally honor him. Now I honor Bast and Djehuty
