[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Re: Your first senut?
« on: January 09, 2020, 11:02:17 am »
I ended up using one liquid offering vessel for the Akhu and the Netjer and drank out of it at the end....Rev. Tanabet kindly corrected me on that one!

Now they each have their own, and I don't drink the Akhu's water.  *blush*

That's wonderful. It's important to have some restorative you-time. <3

My brain does have an unfortunate habit of picking things that I worry about and blowing them out of proportion. I’ve been in a self imposed fallow time following the birth of my daughter and have been worrying about it.

I couldn't help but pick up on this Senneferet...it could be that post-partum hormonal fluctuations are wreaking havoc on your brain/pre-existing anxiety too. I know it did with me. I'm not a doctor, just someone with a similar experience.

I was also nervous applying for the beginner's class, but it was a lovely very low-key experience.

Best Wishes,

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Re: I can’t communicate with the gods?
« on: September 27, 2019, 09:55:09 am »
Sometimes I just talk to Them, sometimes I just listen.

Sometimes They are silent, and I just sit in silence and meditate.

Sometimes in that silence I will get little blips of an image or a word.

And every once in a while *pop* there is a very loud message from one of Them, or a strong image. These are wonderful, and humbling to receive.

Don't underestimate the beauty of sitting in silence with Them though.

Everyone has a different relationship with Them, I hope that reading how others communicate with them helps. <3
