Bumping this as a reminder to give it a look if you haven't yet, there are some interesting items! If there is interest, extending the end date is a possibility too.

[PUBLIC] Fundraising Announcements / Moomas Auction!
« on: November 18, 2020, 11:29:49 pm »
The Fundraising Committee is pleased to announce a special project for Moomas season: A Moomas themed auction, with all proceeds (except the costs incurred with shipping) to benefit the House of Netjer.

Bidding will start at 1200PM Tawy time(CST) on November 30 and all bids must be made by 1200PM Tawy time(CST) on December 7.

We are currently accepting donations of items or services until November 28. Please send these via email to revebehrens@kemet.org, one item or service per email, and include the name of that item on the subject line.

Rev. Tjesi needs the following information with each submission:
1) A picture or graphic of some sort that represents the item or service you wish to donate.
2)The number of items or service(s) you wish to donate. For example, if you are donating tarot divination, you would specify "two readings for one person", or "One tarot reading for the top two bidders".
3)Starting bid in US dollars.
4)Description of the item or service. For example, geneaology work would describe the number of hours of genealogical research involving x sites, or two readings on questions provided by the winner using a type of tarot spread, plus something about the experience of the tarot reader/provider. In other words, at least a few sentences on what is offered to enable the potential bidder to get some idea of what they will receive.
5) How long it will take the provider of the item or service to send the item or do the work.
6) Whether shipping the item is applicable. If it will need to be shipped, is that included with the bid, or will that be an additional amount the winner will need to forward to the provider of the item.
7) Whether or not the provider (or donor of the item/service) wishes to be anonymous. In that case, Rev. Tjesi will need their email and name to be able to forward them the results, but they do not need to have that displayed.

While the theme of this is Moomas holiday season, not everything needs to strictly fall into that category to be an appropriate item or service to donate. If there is something you would like to donate and aren't sure please ask.

If you have any questions about the information required to make your item/service submission, please email Rev. Tjesi at revebehrens@kemet.org. Any other questions, please email Tatuayinepu at tatuayinepu@kemet.org.

Senebty,

Tatuayinepu and the Fundraising Team

[PUBLIC] Fundraising Announcements / How to donate
« on: November 15, 2020, 01:27:22 am »
Em hotep everyone:

If you plan on donating, please try to donate via the PayPal Giving Fund https://paypal.com/fundraiser/charity/70429 or through Zelle https://zellepay.com. Regular PayPal donations will remove up to 10% of your donations through fees, but the PayPal Giving Fund and Zelle do not charge fees. Regular PayPal does allow you to set up automatic payments, while PayPal Giving Fund does not. We have a PayPal donate button at the upper left side of the main page here at https://www.netjer.org if your preference is to use that for your donations.

You can also make donations through Amazon's shopping app. Specify "House of Netjer" via Amazon Smile, in the app. This can also be done at the Amazon site itself if you work on a desktop.

If you have any questions, please contact Tatuayinepu at fundraisers@kemet.org.

Senebty,

Tatuayinepu, Fundraising Bak

[PUBLIC] Fundraising Announcements / How House of Netjer donations are used
« on: November 15, 2020, 01:05:52 am »
Em hotep all!

The following is a brief summary of how monthly donations that we receive are distributed.

The first $500.00goes for general House of Netjer and minor Tawy House expenses (see the financial page at http://kemet.org/finances/ for details.

The next $2,000.00 goes towards Hemet's salary. This satisfies the obligation to the Ministerial Services Contract, which supports her to work four 8 hour days per week, and compensates her for her services. These include answering our emails/forum posts, ritual work done for the benefit of the Temple, pastoral counseling, divinations, teaching, research, translations and many other things.

Anything over and above the total of the first $2,500.00 will go to the Rollover Fund, which helps us cover shortfalls on months when donations fall below our goal. See https://www.netjer.org/forums/index.php?topic=23553.0 for details about the Rollover Fund.

As always, if you have questions about this process, contact Tatuayinepu at fundraisers@kemet.org.

Thank you,

Tatuayinepu, Fundraising Bak

Em hotep everyone,

As of 11-9-2020, total donations are $1,285.06 of our goal of $2,500.00.

For a graphic representation of where the total donations stand, please see https://www.helpingtawy.com/donation-tracker/[/b]]https://www.helpingtawy.com/donation-tracker/

We are about halfway to our goal of meeting our total expenses for the month. We also want to be able to add to our rainy day fund (The Rollover Fund) discussed below. Our goal is to raise $2,500.00 each month, every month.

The following is a brief summary of how we distribute funds that we receive through donations:

The first $500.00 goes for general House of Netjer and minor Tawy House expenses (see the financial page at http://kemet.org/finances for details.

The next $2,000.00 goes towards Hemet's salary. This satisfies the obligation to the Ministerial Services Contract, which supports her to work four 8 hour days per week and compensates her for her services.

The current Rollover Fund balance is $927.83, which we want to keep building as much as possible. See https://www.netjer.org/forums/index.php?topic=23553.0 for details about the Rollover Fund.

If you plan on donating this month, please try to donate via the PayPal Giving Fund https://paypal.com/fundraiser/charity/70429 or through Zelle https://zellepay.com. Regular PayPal donations will remove up to 10% of your donation through fees, but the PayPal Giving Fund and Zelle do not charge fees. Additionally, making donations through Amazon's shopping app just got easier. You can specify "House of Netjer" via Amazon Smile, in the app now. If you primarily work from a desktop, you can also do this from there.

Lastly, we have one current fundraising drive, this being for renewal of the King's stipend, which will remain ongoing. For more information about this campaign, see https://netjer.org/forums/index.php?topic=24284.0. You can specify in your monthly donations or with a one time donation, that you wish your donation to be used for the King's stipend. This means we do not place it in a general fund, but it is only used for paying the salary of the King.

Regarding the fundraiser involving the book "Set, God of Confusion", we are pleased to report that we raised $145.64 after all expenses were paid. We are grateful to have been able to get people a book that is not easy to come by and is recommended. A Big Thank you to all that bought books and worked to bring this to fruition, and for the patience of all who had to wait a bit to receive their books.

Thank you all for your ongoing support, which makes everything we do here in the House of Netjer possible.

Senebty,

Tatuayinepu and the Fundraising Team
