I found this interesting even if I knew some of it.

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Khepri and sun gods
« on: December 15, 2018, 12:56:13 am »
I’m trying to remember a quote or saying “Ra is Khepri in the morning, x at noon and y in the evening” I can’t remember who the other two netjeru in this are. But it’s specific.

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Nebt-het
« on: July 31, 2018, 09:23:35 pm »
What can people tell me about Nebt-Het? I’ve got offerings decided for days upon the year but I don’t have a clue what to get/do for Nebt-het.

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Descriptors of Bast

What’s your favourite analogy or epithet of Bast?

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Hethert
« on: May 29, 2018, 02:18:19 pm »
Do most Hethert children or beloveds experience Hethert as very quiet? I get emotional nudges from Her but I don’t think I’ve ever heard her speak. I’m trying to work out if this is a Hethert thing or a Hethert-Mut thing.

[PUBLIC] Prayer Requests / I have PTSD
« on: February 21, 2018, 01:46:30 pm »
I recently worked out I’ve had PTSD since March 2005. I’m not coping well. I’ve had interrupted sleep even when I don’t have nightmares. Panic attacks, nightmares, migraines and claustrophobic related phobia are my main symptoms.
Prayers please.

[PUBLIC] Prayer Requests / I have a mild binge eating disorder. Prayers
« on: September 09, 2014, 11:57:13 am »
I have a mild binge eating disorder. I'm getting treatment from a psychologist. This is the hardest psychiatric treatment I have done in a long time. I'm not coping well. Prayers?

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Aset
« on: August 17, 2014, 03:32:44 am »
So Aset is the god of the year. I have been told I will create an artwork by the end of Her year. But nothing I already know about Her is helping me find a place to start.

I know a lot of people are scared of Her. I think that's because She is a) strict and b) powerful. Setting that to one side as it's not relevant. What do you know or experience with Her?

Does anyone have a serious and educated guess what a ptolemaic d20 might really have been used for?

I was looking at the king list on Why has Hapshetsut captured popular imagination when there are lots of others? Is it any better in academic writings?

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Nine? parts of the soul
« on: November 12, 2013, 11:52:56 am »
I'm looking for a reminder on the Ancient Egyptian soul. I understand the the ones I remember as

Ba - the eternal soul
Ka -the personality
Sekhem - life energy rather like chi
Khat - the body

What have I forgotten?

[PUBLIC] God(dess) Finder: Image Identifier / Sekhmet in a kilt
« on: September 24, 2012, 07:02:30 am »
Someone posted a photograph of a statue with Sekhmet in a kilt. I can't remember if it was here or on Facebook or who posted it. But I'm trying to track the image down.

[PUBLIC] Welcome! / Re-introduction
« on: August 17, 2012, 07:06:55 am »
I haven't posted here for at least 12 months. I thought I would re-introduce myself. I'm Demaimuti or Demai. I'm a Shemsu. I'm a daughter of Bast and Herthert-Mut. My beloveds are Aset, Djehuty and Heru-Wer. I'm chronically ill. I'm an artist, I work in embroidery and drawings.   My artwork is here  I do Tai Chi and just started the sword.

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Djehuty as Artisan
« on: August 05, 2010, 06:17:54 am »
We talk a lot about Djehuty as a writer, as god of scribes. I remembered recently that he's also god of artisans.

Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences of him in this role?

[PUBLIC] FAQ: RPD (Rite of Parent Divination) / Why be named?
« on: February 22, 2008, 09:37:17 pm »
I know that like the RPD, becoming a Shemsu and being named is optional. I'd like to know why some of the Shemsus chose to be named? Also I'd like to know about how they came to that decision.
