Between 2002 and 2013 I stayed every year for 14 days to a month at Hotel Sonesta St.George in Luxor.
The Japanese restaurant in this hotel was unique in Luxor at the time.
Renowned Egyptologist Kent Weeks often dined at the Japanese restaurant Myako.
The hotel manager, who was aware of my research in the Valley of the Queens, surprised me in 2009 by introducing me to Kent Weeks.
During an interesting conversation with the renowned Egyptologist, I had the audacity to ask him if I could visit KV5.
Two days after our conversation I visited KV5 with Professor Kent Weeks as a guide.
KV5 is the tomb of Pharaoh Ramesses II and his more than 100 sons and the exploration of this tomb was started by Kent Weeks and his wife.
According to Kent Weeks, however, it would be years before the grave could be opened to the public.
Without a doubt, KV5 will be the most visited of all the tombs in the Valley of the Kings in the future.

Between March 2004 and March 2013 I did a thorough exploration of the tomb of Prince Khaemwaset.
The prince was a son of Pharaoh Ramesses III.
His mummified remains were entombed in QV 44.
QV 44 means that the tomb of Khaemwaset was the 44th tomb to be discovered in the Valley of the Queens.
My website depicts the exterior and interior of the tomb of Prince Khaemwaset in detail and illustrates the overwhelming beauty of the tomb with detailed pictures.
