Howdy em hotep --

I'm wondering if any of the House's linguists (or interested guests) might have access to a list of hieroglyphs that include a symbol for shears.  Many online pages state that scissors were invented in Ancient Egypt, but I find no references in my (admittedly very limited) library, and the best online reference shows a pair of Roman shears from 2nd Century CE Anatolia.  There don't seem to be any likely candidates in the Gardiner sign list (other than glyphs for swords or knives), so I'm wondering if any has list of more uncommon signs that have something on it, or if perhaps some of the scholars studying the New Kingdom inscriptions might have something in your collections.  Thanks in advance!
