[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Kemetic Vocabulary
« on: December 25, 2011, 09:31:35 am »
I'm still getting my education in Kemetic Orthodoxy, and often I find myself here in the forum with names of rites (which made me more curious, what is Senut?) and vocabularies that make me very confused, because what I read so far, is unfortunately too little to understand what is in the forums.
Of course not yet started to study the KO, as the new class has not yet been formed and we look forward to start soon.
So, I ask, is someone pass me some material (entries can be in English or Portuguese) who helped me to understand him to Kemetic vocabulary or I'll have to wait for the new class?

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Daily Practice
« on: December 14, 2011, 07:51:08 pm »
Sorry if this topic already exists, but I did not find
I read a few things about the KO, the majority of the content was scarce in Portuguese that I read. However, I found what I needed most, which are ritualistic practices Kemetic an individual, such as readings of texts or simply "life is like a daily Kemetic" I wish this were unclear.
A doubt: All texts, prayers, invocations and incantation are in the Egyptian language or can I do in my own language? Because I think some prayers and texts has been to keep the original language (the Egyptian) in order to maintain the strength of the word. Am I right?

Thank you very much

[PUBLIC] Welcome! / Em Hotep for all
« on: December 14, 2011, 07:31:19 pm »
Em hotep for all!!!

After a long fight, I'm here ...
My name is Hudson Araujo, live in Palmas - Tocantins - Brazil and I am a student of history in Univerdade Federal do Tocantins.
At the moment, I'm Wiccan, but I'm dedicating myself becoming more and more to study the Egyptian religious practice and in my personal life.
My biggest problem will be here to share my English which unfortunately is not of the best, I will do my best to always post here. (if any Brazilian here, help me!)
I sent my request for application to a few weeks ago, and I am very eager to start studying soon as possible....
The study of the Egyptian Reliosidade KO is to me something very important from both the academic and the spiritual side, where I feel I am finding myself, because that's how I feel when I worship the Ancient Egyptian Gods.
No more, I hope you will reap in the midst of all of you.
