[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Netjeri and how they "work"
« on: November 11, 2011, 06:27:08 am »
I hope I didn't pick the wrong category...

I remember from a few years back that we talked about netjeri. I think I wrote about soe odd things that happened to my (very not-believing) parents years after our budgie Bibi had died; there would be the clinking of his cage on its hook (both not there anymore), my dad swore he heard him chirp a few times - and years after the bird had died and years after all my old furniture and the carpet had been thrown away, and the room had been renovated and furnished with new stuff, a single bright green budgie feather sailed to the ground from the middle of the room. Not even the lamp was the same anymore, I must add.

Now I have two budgies again, and the hen behaves very oddly for a budgie. Also, she looks completely different from Bibi and his predecessor Gucki, but I could swear they're all the same... Do/can netjeri come back when their physical body has died? I know they do not become humans, never were humans and all that, but are netjeri limited to one physical body? Can they even have one? Can they "stick around" someone? Can they "add themselves" (in)to an animal that comes into your home?

Many questions, I know. But it is freaky to look at that tiny little bird and have something look back at me which I know...

Em hotep, everyone.

It has been like... years... since I was last online here. My old mail address has long since ceased to exist, and many things have happened.

My daughter Iriuemhebet (short: Ibet) is still alive and now five years old, despite all that the doctors feared and also in spite of all that fate tried to throw in the way.

I have often thought of you out here and missed you a lot. I'm pretty certain I have forgotten the names of at least 80% of those whom I knew back then, so please be patient with me, should I fail to remember every single person. ^^

As for those who don't know me yet: I'm some 36 years old now and live in Berlin, Germany, with my daughter, her dad and our two miniature-vultures aka budgies. I boycot social networks and other data-eating platforms and believe that politics only work without populace to distract the politicians...

That is pretty much it for now. My hopes are to find many of my old friends here still in existence - and to find a ton of new brothers and sisters in faith.
