Em hotep, everyone *henu*

I've been trying to learn more about Hethert this year. I gave up several times in the past because She felt overwhelmingly vast and too hard to relate to. I was just happy She was there, but the relationship was fairly distant in nature. I don't have a statue of Her, because I can't seem to pinpoint which forms She takes for me. Nothing felt quite right.

This year, Nit stepped forward for me, and the fact that She is also very hard to grasp, gave me a bit of encouragement to try to learn about Hethert again, since They feel the same in several ways. Very ancient, very BIG, and more on the silent/watchful side.

I do not get an extroverted bubbly Hethert, or a laughing/singing/dancing Hethert. However, Her love is very deep and warm, and Her smile and presence can brighten any room. She is Queenly, but not quite like Mut. She is calm and watchful, but not tied to the Duat (I tried often to make these connections to the West, but was told 'no' on several occasions. My Hethert is definitely about life). I also don't get Sekhmet at all, if She is there, then it's 99.99% Hethert most days. I often do not feel right adding Her to my RPD lineup, and I tried because I thought it was the proper thing to do. :(

Recently, Hethert's been leading me towards pre-dynastic and Old Kingdom Goddesses that seem to be related to Her (or forms of Her?), but it's been challenging finding resources or any sort of information in general on Iusaas & Nebethetepet (even personal experiences). The little I've found sounds a lot like Her (which makes me happy that some random dreams/messages finally make sense), and I've been getting good signs to continue in this direction, but any help learning more about these Goddesses would be greatly appreciated! UPG or otherwise~

Does anyone else get a more calmer, quiet sort of Hethert that feels too big to fit anywhere? I'm starting to wonder if She's taking on a Creator's form... and perhaps also explains why I am so fond of Tem.

Thanks for taking the time to listen to my rambles!

Em hotep, everyone!

It's been a long time since I've been active as part of this community, and it seems a lot has changed! Hopefully I can meet new faces, and remember the old~

A little bit about myself: I joined this community back in 2006 (has it been that long?), I underwent the RPD rite and am a child of Hethert and Heru-sa-Aset, beloved of Set. I'm fairly quiet and introverted but I love good conversations, so please feel free to send a message at any point!

My reasons for leaving in the past were mostly caused by poverty and some nasty PTSD, which unfortunately still plagues me today at points, but I've always enjoyed this community when I was able to be active, and I hope there's no ill-will if I return or poke my head in once in a while.

In any case, if there's anything anyone would like to ask, please feel free to do so! It's a pleasure to meet you all~

Em hotep, everyone. *henu*

It's been a very long while, since I've been active on these boards. Good things have come to pass recently, and Netjer's always been supportive through the roughest times. Hoping to meet new faces, along with the old. :)
