Em hotep!

I've been wondering if there is a particular incense that you've noticed your Names like, or dislike, or one you tend to associate with Them?

I've looked through the Offerings page on kemet.org, and there are lots of names that don't have a particular scent listed. I know that historically scents like frankincense, myrrh, kyphi, or lotus flowers were commonly offered (and so could be offered to all names?), and we as a community tend to stick to Japanese incense because it is made to similar purity requirements (ie, no animal waste products).

I'm still learning the ins and outs of what my Names like, but 'listening' to and learning about incense in general is an activity I devote to my Father, Nefertem. I associate Morning Star Lotus with him (as it was my first Japanese incense, which He requested), but also other florals like Cherry and Plum Blossom, Sandalwood (which I tend to think of as the 'bread and water' of incense), or Aloeswood (as a complex scent that requires your attention). I've also found an Indian-style incense brand which is very transparent in its ingredients, so I informally burn them for Him too.
I also hold Morning Star Sandalwood and Vanilla close to my heart - they were used for my RPD!

Do any of the Netjeru help fulfil these descriptions?

Since leaving Christianity, I've tended to work with the Greek pantheon, but I feel like I'm unable to fulfil a 'worship' to them in the way they deserve, if that makes sense. By becoming a member of the KO I can honour the Netjeru fully by learning about them, the ins and outs of worship without accidental disrespect, and more importantly, I have a willingness to learn here. While I feel like Apollon guided me to this world, I feel like I'm ready to move on and I'm sure the sentiment is understood.

With that backstory said, there are a few correspondences I'm having trouble finding. For aspects of the Earth like forests, things like travel and the arts it's easy for me to make a correlation (Geb, Ra and Ptah), but what about something like unconditional love in all forms, the sea (which probably wasnt as important as the river Nile), and wealth? I light candles regularly for self love, help with finances and I have a big project coming up to do with algae and I'd love to direct that energy as a request for the Netjeru. I've asked Djehuty for help with writing before, that's seemed to help.

Generally I try to use my intuition for these sorts of things but it seems to be failing me here, any help is very much appreciated :)

[PUBLIC] Welcome! / Hello everyone!

Hello! Thank you so much for accepting me, my name is Lyra and I'm excited to be part of your boards:)

I've worked with Sekhmet for a few years now, she's helped me completely turn things around by casting out many, many toxic people from my life and given me confidence to do things I wouldn't have ever done before. At the time it was rough but its helped me get to where I am today:) I've practiced a sort of pagan path for about 5 years now, but I'd love to get to know the Netjeru better as I feel their presence the most and I've loved Egyptian mythology since I was first introduced to it as a child through yu-gi-oh (lol). I feel like I have been gently nudged here  by them to learn.

I've signed up for the next beginners class, I hope they accept me! How did you find it, was it ok? I'm a student so have all the free time in the world until October when I begin my master's project.
I hope to see you all around!
