When I got on facebook today and was scrolling through my newsfeed, I found  this posted up amongst the cat pictures and people's high gaming scores.  My mom also called me over to watch a news article on it, which gives the name of the akh (Neb-senu) and roughly which year the statue dates from (around 1800 BC, about the time that Queen Sobekneferu(AUS) passed).  My google-fu is failing me on anything pertaining to the akh that is not the video.  So, what do ya'll think?  An akh reaching out for voice offerings, footfall vibrations, or something else?

IMO, it can't be the vibrations, as the other statues would've turned as well if it were.  While it does mostly turn during the day, it does seem to tun at night as well, albeit very slowly, even for the time lapse.  It's easiest to see when you put the video all the way up to 1080p and full screen it, then watch the base.  I'm kind of curious of what holiday was happening at that point.  I think it was the Feast of the Beautiful Valley, but please correct me if I'm wrong on that.  Also, have any of our UK members been to see this statue recently? (just being curious)

Hotep all!

I recieved a e-newsletter from ARCE today that had  this as a link to it, so I figured I'd share it.  It's a pretty informative little video and from a very reputable source.  Feel free to discuss!
