I would argue that Ma’at is present, albeit unnamed, in every myth and story, because Ma’at is the essential order of things, the balancing and re-balancing that is interwoven through all lives and all stories.

Oh I adore this! What a great reminder

I can really sympathize with your situation. Sending you prayers! When I feel like the lack of stability gets overwhelming I like to meditate on pictures of the djed pillar... Wesir helps in this way.

Yinepu is very, very important to me since I finally opened up to accepting him a few years ago after a lifetime of signals and messages.

And yes, if I do get to the point of discovering who I am a child of, I am really nervous about whether or not I am a child of Yinepu. I hope I am, but as mentioned above, we need to be open to all.

Yinepu seemed to force himself into my life when I needed it most. The first signs I started paying attention to were the Death tarot card in all of my readings. When I was originally seeking my deity I was drawn to Bast due to my history of close relationships with cats. But something felt off, it didn't feel natural. The energy felt more canine, and the death tarot card continued showing in my readings. Finally, I held a statue of Yinepu in my hand, and everything seemed to fall in place.

I took it home and set up my altar. Through more tarot readings and other divination methods including dreams, I came to learn that he had found me to teach me the aspect of death in regards to important change. The main phrase I heard often in my thoughts and dreams was, "in order to change and blossom into something new, you need to allow something to die." In my case, I was holding onto past mistakes and past influences that were holding me back from my goals and what I wanted to be in life. I had to let these things die to move on. Some of the things I didn't want to say goodbye to and I grieved over them - but that was okay as it was a natural part of accepting death.

It is possible that Yinepu is trying to assist you with similar.

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

[PUBLIC] Welcome! / Re: Share your story!

I was always fascinated with ancient Egypt, checking out books from the library as a kid, etc. I wanted to learn everything I could about how the ancients lived, worshipped; I wanted to BE there. I still do. Living Kemetic Orthodox is my best way to be with the Gods and how I want to live.

As far as getting to know the Netjer, Yinepu came to me first. He was just there, watching me, from the time I was about 10 on. Always a guardian, and guide. I honestly would feel lost without Him, and the other Netjer.

This really resonates with me. Yinepu has always been a guide, but as I grew older he made himself more approachable & brought me to the House :)
