Hi Everyone!

You're welcome for the article! I was wondering if anyone here has recently visited Egypt? I would love to take a vacation to Egypt, but it's too dangerous right now?

I call Anubis "Jackal-Babe" and "Mr. Lovely".  :)

Em hotep Redflower *henu*

The Names' roles are complex and multifaceted.  I can easily see Djehuty in art as writing.  Have you had an experiences honoring him as such a patron?

As far as I'm aware, I haven't had any experiences with Him. I usually tag after Anubis for attention. ;) In my artwork, I see so many colors and lines and weird things. Maybe a part of that other world inside me is Him?

Em Hotep!

I have a question. Let me begin with some artistic insight. The world is made up of lines and colors. You could say that everything is "written" into being, using these lines and colors, and the writing changes when the light and shadow on any one object changes. In Eastern Orthodox Christianity, when they create a religious piece, a person or event is "written" using lines and paint and expressions. Since Djehuti is concerned with writing, could He also be the Patron God of this type of "writing"? My apologies for any philosophical confusion.

Those are great ideas! I think I'll try some of them out! I have this giant book about Egyptian history and religious practices, so I'd like to become better acquainted with the facts. Thanks so much! :)

Good Evening, Everyone!

I have begun keeping a Spiritual Journal to Anubis. I've been referring to Him as "Mr. Black". I've wanted to do this for a long time, but Life and stress got in the way. Has anyone else here kept such a journal and to Whom did you choose to write to?

Thanks for all your responses! My original intent was to ask if it was appropriate to ask the Gods for sex.

Nima'at, your response was very interesting and helpful regarding the Energy Exchange. :)

Hi! Is it considered disrespectful to ask the Gods for a encounter? I know other Pagan branches encourage that with their Deities, but how does Kemeticism view such encounters?

Hi! I absolutely adore Anubis! I become this total idiot Fangirl inside when I see his picture. However, dogs terrify me, even little ones. I immediately go into Flight-or-Fight when I see a dog, even a calm one. How can this be so? Thanks for your help!
