Welcome back Merit!

I've sent you a PM, I can get you your original user account back :-)

Em Hotep, Djedet

I'll pull what notes I have (and see if I can recall which papers I located that backed this up) when I'm back from hotel heck.

('aint travel wonderful?)

Em Hotep,

Nit-Wesir is the first one that comes to mind.

This is a syncretisation between Nits royal funerary function at Abydos, mentioned in I believe daily lives of the Egyptian gods.

On phone so if wanted could give a larger answer later.

[PUBLIC] Prayer Requests / Re: For the Ka of John Reid

I'm sorry for your loss. Prayers for his family and ka.

Reminder: Please do not post links to books that are still within copyright. Libraries and inter-library loans are an excellent resource if money is an issue.

Prayers. This has happened a few times for me when growing up, but nothing of that magnitude. I pray that the outcome is as uneventful as the ones here were.

Drs can help with other things, but you're right, they can't help with putting a roof over your familys help. But they CAN help you while you get yourself in a position to be able to help your family. And YOU can help your family. And you can only ever do what while alive.

I've just checked your location. Have you spoken to the CAB? They will be able to point you in the right direction; what's what they're there for.

Be careful with your actions. You speak of nothing to fill that void. But have you considered you're the thing that fills your family's void? If you want to do the best thing for them, continue living. Don't let this beat you.

Em Hotep, and welcome to the forums!

As your email on the forums didn't match the one from the checklist I had, it looks like you weren't graduated here, but I've fixed that :-)

Senebty,

Hi,

As your status change includes a change of name (usually), and people are given an option of a full name or nickname, we wait for a message with a preferred name before changing status.

If you PM on the webmaster or this account, I can get it changed for you. There should be a sticky topic about this too, but it looks like it's gone walkabouts, so I need to fix that also. heh.

Em Hotep,

As it turns out I knew this person when I lived in the bay area. Prayers for our mutual friend, and his friends/family.
