Hey Pekhty, are you still in touch with Tawai?
Unfortunately no. It's been a couple of years since I heard from her.

Yep only three. You are the youngest currently, but I believe Tawai was also 17 when she was divined. I would definitely say it's not too soon to call Her Mother, especially if it feel right.
The meat iirc was ham, but I got more of a No Meat sense rather than it being the pork She had issue with. Needless to say Wepwawet's shrine was moved shortly after.

If you want to pm me your email, I have a lot of research that focuses on Her non childbirth aspects I'd be more than happy to share.

Hi Jesse!!!!!!!!

Excuse me if I'm a little excited, but eeeeekkk!another Taweret kid!

As far as I know (and I apologize if I'm incorrect, but I haven't been as active as I would have liked the last few years) the only children of Taweret are myself, Tawaisenu, and now you!

She is definitely a calming, comforting side to her, but she is also very fierce. One of my favorite lines written about her is found in Hemet's The Ancient Egyptian Prayerbook; "Her anger is heavier than a mound of iron, but Her grace is life!"

My go-to offerings for her are cucumbers, watermelon, and blue berries, cool water. The only offering that was absolutely not well received (and in fact wasn't for her but for Wepwawet back when they shared an altar) was meat.

There are plenty of ways to honor her that don't revolve around childbirth. Volunteering for causes that help others, especially children, is a great way. Art, song and dance are all appreciated.

I could go on and on....
