Em hotep! ;D

Welcome! It's great to meet you! You're going to have a blast in the beginner's class, Rev. Tanebet is lovely and could not be easier to talk to.
Let me know if you need anything! <3

EEEEE Nekhtet!!!!! I'm so excited for you!!  :D It's an incredible experience.

Prayers, may he find his way to peace in ease.

Aaaaaaaa I feel this so hard, but it's the other way around for me XP I can make my body go dead at the drop of a hat but I can't make my brain shut up for more than half a second. The closest I get is managing to drown out 70% of the chatter to music or something and I can feel I'm nearly there, but I'm still too loud :/

I'm terrible at explaining stuff so I'm sorry if this doesn't make all that much sense or if it's just the generic advice you've read a hundred times before, but it really helps if you focus on just the one part of your body. For me I end up feeling my heartbeat and then moving it into my head and zoning in on that until it's all I can feel, it takes about a minute.

Hope it's cool if I jump in here! I'm very open about it but at the same time I don't volunteer the information. Like if it comes up or someone asks I'll happily tell them and answer whatever questions they have but I won't go throwing it at everyone. I'm lucky enough to live in a city where I know I won't be run out into the bush for my beliefs, although I might not be 100% welcome at reunions to my old Christian high school  :P

My immediate family knows because I still live with them and I'd never want to hide anything from them, they're extremely accepting but they're all either atheist or agnostic so they don't really see the point in it but as long as I'm happy, they're happy. Outside of that my girlfriend and my closest childhood friend know aaaand that's about it! Everyone who knows me knows I'm an ancient history buff so seeing me with an ankh necklace or the like is pretty standard.

Although in saying all that, it's not something I'd mention to a potential employer or home leaser juuuust in case.

They're all so pretty omg, I hope mine will be up to that standard some day.

As it is now we're about to move house so this is probably going to change, but for now I have this little setup
The picture cutouts are pretty crappy looking OTL but that's the best I can do until after we move. There's gemstones and stuff I thought they'd like in front of Their little statues as well as some pieces of jewellery in the little boxes. Set also has a brass letter opener because that's how He rolls. Also there's some ostrich feathers in a small pot next to Ma'at.

But wait, there's more!

Introducing, the privacy screen , to keep Them safe and protected. And shielded from the disaster zone that is my room. Nobody should be forced to look at that.

I have no idea if I've been doing it right, I've sort of been winging it all year and hoping it was ok  :P

Welcome back, Asetasheni <3 <3
I'm only new here but I'm looking forward to getting to know you!  :) I've also slacked periodically due to an illness that flares up every now and then and I can't tell you how bad I felt until the lovely people here reassured me it was alright.

Again, welcome back  :D

Aaaaaaaaa thank you all <3 You're all so nice  :D

Unrelated note: This is the second time I've blanked out while making tea for myself and then looking down and realising I've made two instead of one
Somebody's being cheeky

Petition to nominate this as the best thread on the boards

This right here is my absolute favourite, it never fails to reduce me to tears from laughing so hard whenever I watch it. How can one person do so many things wrong in making a Mario letsplay. There's also that person who uploaded a Terraria lp that lasted for exactly two seconds. Legendary.

Also, there is nobody who can fail to appreciate this  ;D

And here is the pup

Currently trying to convince parents to let me rescue a cat, but we're about to move house so it's sorta difficult  :'(

Ok first of all, sorry if there's typos or if stuff doesn't make sense. I'm scared of talking to people and it's taken me nearly a week and now three drinks to gather the courage to say hi XP

Hello everyone! :D

My name's Mel, I'm Australian, 21 years old and play vidya more than is healthy.
I'm agender and prefer they/them rather than her/she, but I'm not that fussy so don't worry too much about it. I prefer animals over people and have owned dogs all my life and am also raising a python hatchling who is nearing his first hatchday.

I've felt the call of the Gods since I was a child but I was raised in a fairly conservative family and was sent to a Christian school for all 12 years so I wasn't really given the chance to respond. For the past year I've done my best to worship the Netjeru, however I was diagnosed with a Crohns last year and I'm not well enough to formally celebrate Them as much as I'd like
