So there is no limits to how many one can have on beloveds??
What is the usually number if there is one to be noticed?

I don't recall anyone having more than 5 Beloveds. Is that the limit? I have no idea.
And I don't think that anyone tried to calculate the arithmetic mean. And why should one? Two Beloveds are not better than 4, nor 3 are better than 1. Everyone gets as many Beloveds as one needs.

Almost everyone has beloveds; it is possible to not have any beloveds at all in your lineup, but that's very rare. ;) And IIRC, there's no limit on how many you can end up with...

I don't think that I ever saw a case of someone not having a Beloved. But I think we have at least one case where Parent and Beloved are identical

You are welcome.

And it's always good to get ones assumptions confirmed

Not more than 2

No, Beloveds are not rare. Everyone has Beloveds. Some people have only one and some have 5. I think my head would explode if I had that many

Here is a list of Kemetic words which we use frequently

The beginner class is indeed free. Technically there is a fee for the RPD because offerings have to bought. But so far no one has been turned away for money reasons and people "paid" with something else than money. Like special services

may i ask- Who is the "Swallower of blood" mentioned in Purification 15?

It is tempting, although far from secure, to translate the protector of this invocation as a form of Sekhmet. The "Swallower of Blood" is being asked to verify that the speaker has not committed usury with grain (hennuwit).

[PUBLIC] FAQ: RPD (Rite of Parent Divination) / Re: How do you know?

I think there is a little misconception. The RPD doesn't tell you who you are devoted to or who you are allowed to be devoted to. You can have a relationship with any Name you want. Not only the ones who show up in your RPD. The RPD will tell you who created your Ba and Ka. We can not chose our biological parents so it is only logical to me that we cannot chose our spiritual parents either.

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Re: Your Shemsu Name and You
« on: March 16, 2007, 03:38:50 am »
1.) What is your Shemsu name and meaning?
Tanebetheru = "Heru's Lordhip"
2.) What is your RPD lineup?
Daughter of Heru-Sa-Aset, Beloved of Ra-Heru-Akhety
3.) How long have you been named, and how long did you wait before being named?
I have been named in February 2004 and was divined exaxtly one week before
4.) Are there any interesting puns in your name that you have heard of? Please share them if you're willing to.
I let it to others to decide if they are interesting  ;), my name could mean "this belongs Heru" as well
5.) Did you try to figure out what your name would be before you got it? If so, were you close?
no, I didn't try
6.) Did you use any Kemetic names before you got your Shemsu name? If so, what were they and what did they mean?
Tahemet - which means Queenie (or at least that's what the homepage said), which is one of my other nicknames and so I thought it was fitting
