About the iron it might of also been in the wine too, don't know.

Oh sounds like something that I would want to buy, pomegranate liqueur. I know that Iron was really widespread in drinking vessel's as it wasn't known back then that Iron wasn't good for you in large qualities. They say that Nero might of gone insane due to drinking large qualities of wine that had iron in it or something like that. What I like about this religion is the fact that you can have a small shrine to Sekhmet and that there's even a temple to Sekhmet in Navada, I think, which is really cool and I would like to go and see it.

I printed a picture of Sekhmet and placed it on my door above the altar that I'm starting. I could only find orange candles, which I don't know if it's appropriate but Sekhmet hasn't given me the impression that she's against it. I've added a fountain to it and I have a lion that's coated in a substance that's suppose to make it look like it's gold but what's really cool is that there's a red ribbon tied around her neck and then I found a small lion that I put on-top of a oil burner that I'm not using anymore so that it doesn't fall off.

Tell me what you think of what I said.

I thought that everyone would love to read about this. Ignore stupid comments that Yahoo members posted about it. What I think is that this discovery is very valid even if people can't tell the difference between Egypt and Iran.

Just like with Islam, the same religious group that protect Egypt's treasures, the religion isn't evil just a small population of Muslims.

Ubenetseu, I laughed at what you said about what you feel about what people would say about how Bast was worshiped. Imsetra, I just thought that there was a temple to her because she was, in my opinion, a very important Goddess. However I'm getting that some temples were dedicated to different gods due to maybe being married to another god or being part of a triad. I love the story about how she was finally brought back home and I'm going to admit that it's fascinating. What I would like to know is that during their festivals did the Egyptians drink beer that was tainted red or was it something that the Gods were only able to do?

Oh I agree but I do love this religion a lot. Had a dream about Sekhmet and she wanted me to follow her path, which I will do gladly. Also I wish that people would just get along.

Sorry about calling Christians that. Thanks for answering my question.

Where are the temples to Sekhmet? I know that she was the wife to Ptah but where is her temples? Where they destroyed by evil Christians or are they connected to her husband's temple? Let me know, please, as I'm having a hard time find any photo's of Sekhmet's temple.

Sometimes Zahi really makes me mad. I mean, yelling at his students and all that. I know that their not perfect but give me a break. Anyway, love how he bullies countries into giving the stuff back. I was having a conversation about archeologists to a girl that lives in Greece and follows the Greek Gods. She said that archeologists claim that her and her people are going to damage things of value if their allowed at the temples.

Who died and made them Ra? I don't know, just something that gets under my skin. Love the show but really he needs to cool it.
