A: Freedom of Speech.
Words are powerful and with this freedom you can bring about all forms of change.

Q: What do you plan to dress up as for halloween?

Muse. Bought tickets for hubby's birthday and it was amazing!

What is your favorite holiday candy? (i.e. peeps, candy corn, etc)

I have met MANY people that like dem-'s. Some see them as misunderstood beings, like dogs with bad reputations. Others think they(the practitioners) are wise enough to get what they want from them and not pay a price. Others just see them as beings of nature and natural urges and emotions so why not get in touch with that?
I still am wary of these people. Though I do have a friend of the 'wise' variety, i don't approve but I don't judge her as a person.

I think I have an idea. Get a blank box, usually found in a craft store, and place the pieces of your Set statue in the box. You can craft up the box with images of Set, his name, maybe line the box's inside with a red fabric? It could be a great tribute to Set, his statue, and still have a true place for him in the shrine.

And when you can afford to get a replacement statue, you can ritually bury the broken piece.

A: Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto Japan.
I so want to visit that shrine.

Q: If you could have an unlimited shopping spree, what kind of store would you spree in?

For a fellow Ohioan, prayers for Neil's ka. May the sky mother embrace him in rest as she did in life.

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Re: Not a surprise...

I'm so sorry to hear this. It can be very tough to practice with such negative feelings being sent your way. If you can afford it, i'd create a locked cabinet where you can create an altar inside of it. You may be able to find a simple cabinet and use a loose lock for it. An old locker may work out. I wish you luck.

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Loved Ones Influenced?
« on: August 06, 2012, 01:16:12 pm »
With some recent interactions with a netjer, a few stressful things have been coming up. My husband had a mild bout of heat stroke a couple weeks ago that had him on edge. Recently he's been suffering from anxiety over his health and one night woke up to mild sleep paralysis, minus the paralysis. He thought he saw a shadow man in our room. Since then his anxiety has peaked and its been causing some emotional stress between us. All his fears seem to have bubbled up to the surface.
Today he had a theory of that shadow being his shadow, in the shamanic sense. My question being, could a netjer have influenced him if I am the one with the connection to the deity?

There are quite few deities I feel connected to, but only a couple have really come closer. Sekhmet being closest, Het-Hert, and Nebet-Het. Nebet-Het has been coming through nearly as often as Sekhmet recently. While Yinepu has stepped back.
Other connections: Sobek, Nut, Yinepu, Isis.

Hello! I hope you enjoy it here!

I have to say, that is a really cool find.
It makes me instantly think of all the immigrants that left in the past from Europe. Its really amazing to think about.
