[PUBLIC] Prayer Requests / My husband's brother
« on: April 15, 2018, 03:39:25 pm »
Em hotep,
It is with a heavy heart that I come to you all today.  My husband's brother Mason passed away today. It was unexpected and very sudden. I would just like to request prayers for Mason and his family. Thank you.

Em hotep all,

I was just curious what the differences between reconstructionism and revivalist are? Like I have a general idea of what makes something reconstructionist, but revivalism seems a bit more elusive... can someone explain the differences to me. Particularly any functional differences?

Thank you and senebty,

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Subtle differences

Em hotep,
I'm trying to get a better feeling for certain syncretized Names. Particularly the subtle differences between Bast-Mut, Hethert-Mut and Sekhmet-Mut. And also the differences between Ptah, Ptah-Sokar and Ptah-Sokar-Wesir. I was wondering if anyone that works with these Names could tell me the kind of nuances they get from Them?

[PUBLIC] Kemetic Orthodox Q&A / Getting Closer to Your Akhu
« on: March 06, 2016, 11:28:12 pm »
Em hotep all,

I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to get closer to one's Akhu?

I'm not particularly close to my living relatives so getting closer to those that have passed seems almost impossible.

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Losing beloveds
« on: March 06, 2016, 12:14:47 am »
Em hotep all,

I was wondering, since we know we can gain beloveds, can we lose them too? I once was very close to a certain name, and now not so much.

Obviously, I haven't been divined so there's no telling what's already happened. My best guess is that She taught me what I needed to know and has moved on to help another who needs Her more. Is that possible? Or am I just confused on what a beloved is?

Anyways, thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts and Senebty.
