Em hotep!

Thank you, Tatuayinepu for reaching out. <3

If you want to DM me, Judix, we can chat about your question(s) and see if we can format them for fedw.

Thank you Rev Tjesi, Ituiemhat is currently on leave and is unavailable to do fedw for Set.

I will attempt to contact Pairysenu.

I have permission from Set to do fedw for Him if the need is urgent and there are no children of His available. He is a Beloved, not a Parent, but is around quite a bit. If I can help in this way, DM me here or contact me at tatuayinepu@kemet.org. If you're on Discord, I can be reached there, too.

Hope that helps.

Hello there!

I am not a Priest myself, but I would be more than willing to do some divination for you via tarot and/or oracle cards! Set is my only Beloved so He tends to be around for me and I communicate with Him almost exclusively through my cards.

If you’re interested, I’d love to give it a shot! I’ll be around all day today. If you’d like to contact me privately via Discord, my username is Utjes in the KO server or my account name at morguemaus#8386

Edit: Totally forgot the forum has PMs! You can PM me on here as well.

Em hotep, -henu- <3

I'm a Priest of Set! I am currently on Leave tho, so unfortunately I am not able to divine right now. :( However, we have many diviners in the House, and one does not need to be a priest to do so!

Our Official Divination System is called Fedw and is unique to Kemetic Orthodoxy. To learn Fedw, one must be taught directly by the Nisut (AUS) in person. Fedw Diviners are Shemsu who will ask a question of their Parents, then divine the answer by throwing and interpreting the placement of fedw sticks. In some cases, fedw diviners may also be granted permission to divine for Beloveds or Akhu (the blessed dead). Fedw is used primarily to answer yes/no questions. Some diviners accept more "general overview" questions, though the answers the system provides still don't give much detail.

For your questions, I would suggest a system that provides more depth, like tarot or oracle cards. Again, one does not need to be a Priest or even a Child/Beloved of Set to do so. I will direct some of our diviners this way, perhaps one of them can help you.

I noticed you mentioned having "issues communicating with this one spirit." If you are referring to Set/Sutekh, he is in fact a deity/Egyptian god, rather than a spirit. <3 You may hear that Set "doesn't like divination," but I would assert that this is not true! In my experience, he is generally quite firm and blunt in his answers, but he holds a great deal of compassion (and passion in general) and is more particular about the types of questions people tend to ask than the act of asking them. He prefers that one come to their own understanding about things before asking him (critical thinking and self-reflection are good and important things!), and as such he does not enjoy being asked questions one already knows the answer to or the same question repeatedly. He tends to be iffy about "what should I do" questions, again because he values critical thinking and self-reflection: if you need to make a choice, he wants you to make that choice of your own will. He is very aware that we might take his answer as final, and doesn't want to rob us of the power to freely make our own decisions. <3

Thank you for the detailed description! I'm sorry but I'm not so familiar with the agreed upon terminologies here - I personally use the word spirit interchangeably with the word god but that's my own thang, and in no way a reflection on the reverence or respect for I have whomever I work with.

From your description it sounds like I definitely already got Set a few times. The issue is that I was having trouble distinguishing his replies from my own subconscious thoughts, which tends to be a bigger issue for me when I start working with a new spiri-- I mean god! And because I the things I wanted input from Set on are kind of urgent, it has been rather frustrating. I find that in this situation, it's often best to get a 'second opinion' from someone who works with said god, too.

I look forward to hearing from any diviners who pass by :)

Thanks again!

I believe Ituiemhat is also on leave.

Pairysenu and Ituiemhat are both fedw diviners for Set.

[PUBLIC] Netjer (Our Gods & Goddesses) / Priest of Set for Divination or Help?
« Last post by Judix on January 21, 2022, 01:14:38 pm »
Hi everyone. I'm totally new as a member here. Just for a bit of background, I work with Sobek, Bast, Wadjet, Heru, Auset and newly began working with Set /Sutekh.

I went to Sutekh based on recommendations from my other Neter for help with an almost intractable situation involving low key (sub legal) harassment lasting many years.

He seemed amendable to offering a new approach to magick which has mildly mitigated the situation, which is incredibly draining on the astral plane. But now I am unable to figure out what else to do and I haven't been able to reach Sutekh. Apart from continuing to record and report this harassment, I mean.

It's been an exhausting time and I am not the best with my God phone. I mean, I am slightly better than average but I have had a lot of issues communicating with this one spirit, which is frustrating as the other Neter thought he'd be helpful. I am really getting a bit desperate to see what he advises or can do, and of course, want to know what I should do to work more fruitfully with him, and with all due respect given to him, as well. I heard he can be tricky at times and this is proving true for me, unfortunately...

Can anyone here attempt divination to verify what I should be doing differently, I wonder? I seem to recall seeing that there are priests that help with that.

Sorry to lay a big sob story AND a request for help on you as my first post, haha... but... it is what it is as they say!

I am grateful in advance for your replies.
