Devo, I hope you see this.  I couldn't get the quote button to work properly, but I wanted you to know that I really appreciated your honesty.  Some of my "bad" traits I've come to terms with and even happily accept now - my intensity and out-spokenness, for example.  The other things, well, I just have to keep working on those.  I agree that repressing these qualities isn't the best solution.  I think Set could be very helpful in this area of my life.
Deep into the darkness, peering
long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal
     ever dared to dream before.

I'm sure he would be helpful. He's good for showing you what is what- without any sort of sugar coating (Aset can be this way as well). He'll smack you around if you need it, he'll stand by with patience when you need it. In the end, he's good for making headway on things of that nature. You just have to take the first step- to show that you want it.

There's no gods that I've found myself running for the high hills but I'm absolutely terrified of Ammut, the Great of Death, Eater of Hearts. She keeps me up at night. I had a nightmare about her last week and I at once called upon Sekhmet, asking her to protect me. I dreamed that Ammut had her butt kicked by Sekhmet and I felt better.
I follow the rhythm of Egypt.
