Em Hotep everyone!

Just an update for you all, I've had my first successful fedw session with my Mother, so I am going to officially open myself for questions for Her.
Just PM me and we'll find something that works for contact.

Em Hotep!

First of all Congratulations on your success!
Second of all, I have no idea what I would even ask as I have never spoken to Her and I'm not sure what questions are/are not allowed.  Though I do wonder about my health issues.
Perhaps you could fill me in on what is/not allowed to be asked?

Senebty,

Em Hotep Kheper,

Asking medical related questions is a bit of a no-no for Fedw. Things like "Should I go see a doctor for this?" are not appropriate. Really, if you think you need to see a doctor, then you should go.

Depending on what you're wanting to know, how-ever, She might be able to answer some questions. Perhaps alternate or non-invasive methods of healing? Meditations, yoga, tai chi? Think on this a bit more, and I will ask Hemet if these types of questions are appropriate or not.

I would also give the general advice to not to ask for a divination just for the sake of asking for a divination.  Saying "I don't know what I would ask" is a clue that maybe now's not the time to be asking anything even though Maret has made herself available.  Normally, the question comes first, you decide which Name you wish to pose the question to, find a diviner who throws for that Name, and then work together to fine-tune the question. :)  Many of the earlier posts in this thread go into quite a bit of detail over what is and is not appropriate for fedw.

Senebty,

Em hotep

Me saying "I don't know what I would ask" actually translates (at least for me) is that I have so many questions, I don't know where to begin.

Em Hotep Kheper,

Perhaps asking yourself a series of questions to help narrow down what's really at the root of why you're wanting to ask would be a good place to start. Like working backwards in a sense, start at the end.

Em Hotep:

I re-read this thread from the beginning.  It would be a health question and from what I have read it's not encouraged to do so.  I can't afford to go see a doctor.  Health insurance where I work is very expensive and I thought I might be able to save myself some money and frustration.  I'm not a fan of modern medicine, having been to many, many doctors over the years and being told multiple things many which contradict one another. My immune system is very weak, I have certain symptoms of Lupus and symptoms of Porphyria. Doctors have been unable to figure out which one it is or if it is either at all.  I just don't have the money for a specialist.

I just need some peace of mind.

Em Hotep Kheper,

Unfortunately then, I can't answer these questions through divination. Maybe try speaking with Kai Imakhu NiankhSekhmet about her skill in herbalism, as she would know what alternative methods to medicine would be beneficial, and most pharmacies are a free consultation to talk to them about possibly drug interactions.

I'm afraid I can't be much more help than that. :-/

Having searched for a list of fedw diviners and not found one, I figured I'd ask here.

Is anyone able to throw fedw for Yinepu willing to do so for me? The question isn't pressing, but...

Thanks!

Hotep Faofeng,

A House specific form of divination that requires throwing sticks. One can only divine with their Parent via this method. It is taught by Hemet herself.

I just realized there were 8 pages to this thread. I'm sure someone must have said it earlier, so sorry if my question was a repeat.
