Greetings from Arkansas!
« on: October 02, 2010, 10:09:15 pm »
Hi! I'm 17 and a resident of Arkansas.
A bit about me- I have loved Egypt since third grade, and since sixth grade have wanted to worship the Egyptian gods. However, being in the bible belt, you can imagine how that is.
My mother once read in my diary my contemplations on such things. It did not go well, to say the least.
Anyway, I've been Pagan for a few years, but I've basically left the branch I followed. There was too much bad influence and hypocrisy.
I'm now a senior in high school.
I like Kemetic Orthodox very much! The people here are actually helpful, nice, and intelligent. Unlike the people of the egroups of my last interest, which I would rather not name, though I can tell you wouldn't judge me for it.
I've noticed that quite a few people here also fight depression, and many are helped by the gods. I've been feeling better lately, so maybe someone is helping me.
