Em hotep.
« on: October 22, 2010, 06:01:35 am »
Greetings, fellows. How are we all, hmm? I suppose you can call me Amanda, since I was a silly twerp and thought it reasonable to use my proper name when registering for a forum. I'm a 'young adult' for all intents and purposes, and studying to work in neurology.

As far as deities are concerned, I tend to align myself with the Welsh girls, but there have been instances with the Kemetic deities which have seen to it that I've encountered this faith system and subsequent forum.

I had a very vivid dream in which Aset and Wesir were flanking me, with Djehuty wandering past occasionally and I was referring to Wesir as papa and Djehuty as uncle. Later (also known as 'recently'), the personification of ma'at began to tap at my window.

I don't know whether Egypt has fallen into my lap to teach me a lesson or to guide me into a Kemetic faith system (I am more comfortable with the Welsh, as I have a strong attachment to one of the ladies), so I'm here to get a bit of insight into Kemetic reconstructionist faith.

Em hotep, Amanda! :)

It's all good, when I registered here I used my birth name as well (Coty, by the way ;) ).

I have a love of Welsh mythology and the Gods and Goddesses of Wales myself. :) You're in good company!

Nothing silly or twerpish about it. When I joined, back when we were working on getting those pyramids finished, I went by my surname. ;)

After my Naming, I changed things around.

You are welcome here, at least as far as I'm concerned.
