Well Bast-Mut, Sekhmet-Mut, and Hethert-Mut all sorta merged into one goddess. Eventually the merged Mut form got merged with Aset. Then the Greeks took Aset and made her into Isis. :)

I think this is why a lot of us X-Mut children feel we're inter-related with each other. :)

If the Wikipedia article you found has external links and references in peer-reviewed periodicals you can read up on, I would so so. *grin*  That usually means there's slightly less BS in the article itself.

Well thanks to Sobeqsenu's site (which appears to be well sourced), Mut-Sekhmet-Bast is "a combination of many of the leonine Goddesses found in the New Kingdom".

I am pretty sure that's who this Statue is, and I'll confirm that with some 'time' spent with her during my next Senut and discusssion with those Names I usually converse with.

Thank you all for sharing your ideas and thoughts,  It helped me immensely.

She sure is pretty regardless ... and Mut-Sekhmet-Bast sounds interesting to get to know. I hope you post some more about your experiences. :)

Hmm, I wonder if Mafdet has a -Mut syncetization...

Not to revive an old thread, but I learned from the Mut journal that one epithet of Mut is, in fact, "Mafdet" and read somewhere (unverified, unsourced, unable to find right now) that Mut may have absorbed Mafdet's aspect at some point, which is why she's not seen much.

Thanks for reviving the thread though, MiMafdet...  Thought I'd let everyone know that the statue pretty much goes by the name Mut, and that's it, these days.
