Hi everyone, I had to leave the last beginners class and the forum because I was so down with depression again, and confused as to what direction my path was going. I was also struggling with a university course I was unhappy with and it all got too much.

I understand both the depression and the fact that coursework not to mention homework takes a good deal of time and stress to do well.  Depression is always a nightmare to deal with.

Also Djehuty has been with me, telling me in no uncertain terms to stop pussy-footing around and write my book, instead of waivering!

I do believe that Djehuty has refused to speak with me much until i decide to get back to reading - and studying. *sigh*

The Netjer have been with me the whole time and would not let me go...

Yeah, I know. :) Same here. >.> As much as I've pushed them all away... I just wish they could tell me what I need - or feel I need, definitely want! - to know.

Welcome back! I hope things go well with the class- and you'll have a little head start possibly.

I'm thrilled to meet another writer. I'd love to hear what type of book it is.   :)

It's based on the Roman massacre of the Druids at Anglesey, Wales. My young hero is a seer and an apprentice priest, and he manages to escape with a group of his kinsmen. He is the last in a line of High Priests, asnd his survival depends on the survival of the ancient traditions. the story is of his perilous journey to try to get to Scotland undetected, to merge with the Celtic tribes there. it has been thought that the Druids were wiped out for good with that massacre, but there is too much of Celtic heritage and tradition that has survived, and someonehad to keep it going. It is close to my heart because my Nan was Welsh, and I have Scotts blood too. I am weaving witchcraft and feariecraft and magic into it too. It is based on history, but a fantasy too. I have been told that the older teen/adult market would love it. :)

Thank you! I'm being kept busy doing research on the Celtic tribes of Ancient Britain, and I'm happy because while looking for books in my library, I found Wilkinson's Complete Gods book. Result!!
