Em hotep!

I know that all the divine Names are Names of Netjer being aspects of Netjer in individual forms - but can Amun be regarded as identifiable with Netjer more 'completely'? I ask since 'Amun' means 'Hidden One' and as Amun-Ra "was the mysterious originator of all life, the 'one who made himself into millions'" ( 'Egyptian Mythology', Geraldine Pinch ).

I am a son of Amun Ra. The way that he has inspired me is that he IS Netjer, from which all else manifests.

Em hotep, Alexander.

I was told during my RPD that, while all the Names are "Big", Amun-Ra is "Immense" :).

I would say that it was both a surprise and not a surprise.

I figured that Heru-sa-aset would show up. He is actually the one that brought to the faith.

As far as Amun-Ra, I had only just been handed over to Amun by Heru-sa-aset. So I had a slight idea that he might show up, but I was really surprised that he showed up as my father.

But He is really an amazing God. All the things he has shown me and all the progress he has helped me make is beyond explanation and belief. I love my Father for sure. Any other question? LOL I hope these are not too long, I can talk about him all day.

Amun-Ra is my second beloved. With me, He is very loving and abstract. My Father tends to take precedence in the most forward Netjeru in my life (Wepwawet). Amun-Ra is like a kind great uncle that can have a very dangerous and ferocious side to him. When I see or feel white heat from the sun or hear a low lion rumble, I think of Him.
