Petyu's back from the... uhm... living?
« on: November 09, 2011, 01:37:42 pm »
Em hotep, everyone.

It has been like... years... since I was last online here. My old mail address has long since ceased to exist, and many things have happened.

My daughter Iriuemhebet (short: Ibet) is still alive and now five years old, despite all that the doctors feared and also in spite of all that fate tried to throw in the way.

I have often thought of you out here and missed you a lot. I'm pretty certain I have forgotten the names of at least 80% of those whom I knew back then, so please be patient with me, should I fail to remember every single person. ^^

As for those who don't know me yet: I'm some 36 years old now and live in Berlin, Germany, with my daughter, her dad and our two miniature-vultures aka budgies. I boycot social networks and other data-eating platforms and believe that politics only work without populace to distract the politicians...

That is pretty much it for now. My hopes are to find many of my old friends here still in existence - and to find a ton of new brothers and sisters in faith.

Welcome back! I only just joined the House in 2009/early 2010 and thus have not had the pleasure of chatting with you, but it's nice to meet you. :)

Nut & Set as Parents is a pretty epic combo. :3

Em hotep! As evidenced by my lovely Beginner label off to the left there, I'm a newbie to the House. Thus, much like Tepta, I look forward to getting to know you!

Also, while I have quite a bit more learning to do before undergoing the RPD myself, I am extremely fond of both Set and Nut. I'd love to hear about your experiences with Them as Parents at some point, if you would be up for it. :D

Welcome back! :D
Look out the window. And doesn't this remind you of when you were in the boat, and then later that night you were lying looking up at the ceiling, and the water in your head was not dissimilar from the landscape, and you think to yourself Why is it that the landscape is moving but the boat is still?

Whoa! Thanks for all the WBs so far...

Ekunyi: I was NOT very happy ending up with Set in my Divination, I can tell you that much... I remember that resonant "Nooooo, you're kidding, aren't you?!" that I blurted out back then. Not very festive, I guess. :P

And yes, of course I will share some of my experiences - that's part of what we're here for, innit? "Epic" is a nice way to put it. BTW, my Shemsu name Petyua'a means "Those (i.e. the gods) of the sky are great". Once I've found my way around the forums again, ask away.

Welcome back Petyu! ^^  There was a reorganization letter sent out to the house members around Kemetic New year, so you'll need to answer it to regain access to the private side of the boards.  Since your old email doesn't work anymore, maybe one of peeps who've answered already wouldn't mind forwarding you the reorg email?
