Quote from: Petyu
The German cover has a knobbly-nosed Set glowering down at a girl and a boy, and all in all it looks like... uhm... Harry Potter goes prehistoric. Gnnn. Can't seem to find the English version over here. I'll check my special "dealer" tomorrow. You made me curious.

Amazon.de has the   English version, Petyu

I have read the first one and it was pretty good.Entertaining and it was interesting to see Bast in a much different way than what I'm used to thinking of her as. I have yet to read the second book though.

I've not seen the U.K cover but I'm reading the second book right now. I loved the ending of the first book.

Odd. I got my book, it's English, but the cover still is that odd one. But heeey, it's fun to read!

Well, I'm half-way through 'The Red Pyramid' - and thoroughly enjoying it! Great fun ( I find the Sadie character irritating - as is the 'off-tape' patter - but she'd probably appeal to the teenage audience that is the book's primary market )! Loads of Kemetic mythology! :)

I Just finished reading the Red Pyramid.. Once I got past some bits that irritated me I did enjoy it, and it was quite accurate :) I love Bast! And Djehuty is funny.

Taji, I know a twelve year old who swears by it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I rather like Rick Riordan, so I'd personally say go for it. It's always nice to have a lighthearted read. :)
