Dua Bast
« on: February 27, 2012, 11:30:34 pm »
I just had an amazing experience with my Mother!
These last couple of days have been very stressful, especially concerning my living situation (I am half-way between my mate's house and my parents' place). Tonight, an overwhelming urge to go and take a walk on the golf course that is behind my mate's apartment building while he was outside having a heart-to-heart with a friend of ours. Once I arrived to the nearest hole, I checked out the green as I had never been on a golf course hole before. When I got there, there nothing around, but when I looked up again, there was a single black (or deep brown) cat just sitting about three feet from me. I said "Hello" and she just shot over to me, purring and mewing. She nuzzled and asked for petting for some time and when I started walking back to the apartment, she started to follow. The entire time, she stayed right at my side, guiding me and guarding me as I walked in the cool night. When I got back, she just flopped down onto the ground and watched me walk up the stairs to my mate and our friend. I turned back and I could just feel Mom's energies coming from her.
I really feel as though Bast was letting me know that everything is going to be ok. This was really something that I've been needing.
So once again :DUA BAST!!

That's great to hear!

I also had a cat appear to me yesterday on the beach, seemingly at random. I was very pleased to see her and also felt that Bast was making Herself known.

It is always wonderful to hear of Mum appearing to us! Dua Bast!

Dua Bast indeed! I had a little black and white cat cheekily try to walk inside our house as we waved our eldest daughter goodbye last night.  :D

Em hotep, Aiedaile,

That is such a lovely experience to share. Thank you :).

I had to go to a family funeral recently, and there was a beautiful very dark brown cat sitting under a tree near the entrance to the Chapel of Rest. I was not looking forward to the funeral, but, somehow, the cat managed to make me feel better about it. (Oddly, no-one else noticed the cat...). It helped me to get through a painful, but necessary, family good-bye.

I do love hearing these stories of Bast as experienced through interactions with the physical cats that "cross our path" if you will. Thank you for sharing! Dua Bast!
