A nervous em hotep
« on: August 12, 2012, 09:57:38 pm »
Nervous, because I'm generally quite poor at self introductions haha.  It had taken me a while to get the guts to register, and then a bit longer to really make this post.

I felt that maybe I should put forth an effort though, since I'm hoping that soon I'll receive word on if I was accepted into the beginner's courses or not!   I had applied a few months ago, so I'm patiently (and excitedly) waiting.

Spirituality has been a bit of a long and winding road for me.  However, in recent months it seems as though everything I had experienced before finally fell together in my lap and pulled me here, it just made so much sense suddenly.  I feel I have likely been called by a specific Netjer, but I'm trying not to get ahead of myself.  I've never been this sure of something though, so I'm eager to explore these feelings more.  I think I've read almost every thread on the forum that I can access  .

Anyhow, I'm happy to be here!  I hope to learn a lot here, everybody seems so welcoming and friendly.

Em hotep and pleasure to meet you. Some people know me as Keiy, though after some wondering I have been guided, for lack of a better term, back here under the name Feoh, a name given to me by the same Goddess that is pushing me back. Funnily enough, Freyja obviously does not belong to the Kemetic gods. I have a very winding spiritual path as well.

As for the "Being called by a specific Netjer" thing. That happens a lot. Most of us were brought here by something similar.

I am glad that you feel welcomed here. KO has become a home for most and I hope that it becomes one for you as well.
