You can never have too many cobras
« on: November 04, 2012, 07:58:24 am »
For the fan of Meretseger and Weret Hekau, check out this blog post about an image of the Lady Who Loves Silence adorned with protective cobras in her outfit.
(and if you have a snake phobia, no actual cobras are depicted. only art here.)

I had to laugh at the title Zat, Slithering Snakes on a sexy goddess of Ancient Egypt. It is a beautiful depiction of the Netjeret.  So many cobras, such great protection!

I've never seen so many cobras on one figure in Egyptian art. Wow! Thanks so much for posting it, Zat!

Meretseger is certainly carrying some powerful protection with Her! ;)

I didn't know Kasia Szpakowska was blogging! Several of her books are near the top of my "I wish I could afford" list.

Thanks!
