Lariany, it looks like the e-mail server you're sending from is blocked. Do you have another e-mail address you could send the application from?

For anyone using yahoo mail:
You may have to try sending e-mail multiple times. It looks like several yahoo e-mail servers have been blacklisted for sending too much spam, which can cause your mail deliveries to fail. Re-sending it should have a chance of going through one of the non-blocked servers.

It's nice to have your sympathy and I bet it is much appreciated by all of us :D but at this point I can't hold back on one little thing:I applyed to the class last november after I had read a good deal of the sources offered. I know much about the rituals and legends by now. But nonetheless, what I am going to learn here is something completly new whatsoever. Because it doesn't come from a science book that aims to teach archeology and history. Here I will learn the ways and knowledge of a community I am eager to call part of my family soon, part of my life, part of who I am. This is something no book can give me. That is what I am waiting for. :)

P.S.: those books tell about the ways of ancient egypt. The house of netjer is something much younger, which has adebted to the new, modern world. Even if there was a book about it, I want to learn it right from the origin, with a clearn and untainted mind.

That's true, though I wasn't giving those suggestions as if to replace the intro class, sorry if it came across that way. It is simply a way to sate one's impatience to begin.

I sent back in January, but I did not receive a failure notice and, in fact, got a "your application was received message" but I, too, have heard nothing either.  Just thought I'd mention that since others have been having trouble hearing back.  Now I am getting concerned that perhaps it wasn't actually received at all since so many are having difficulties.  Anxious to get started as well!

Should we send later on if we are accepted, alternative email addresses. That way emails won't fall through. I knew gmail was bad but didn't know yahoo was. I have a hotmail and everyone could just switch to hotmail, aol (if that's still in use) um I heard you can get an email address with Facebook to.

Just check your span folder for KO e-mails and mark them as NOT SPAM. I use gmail, and it works fine for KO stuff.

Em Hotep!

I learned from Hemet that mine had not gone through back in December, although I had received the automatic confirmation. She suggested I email it directly. I did so yesterday so I sure hope it got through!

Ah, to feel this call so strongly - this is certainly a learning experience!

Senebty everyone.   :-)

Em Hotep,

what do you mean by "directly"? I take every advice I can get but still got no confirmation mail. I'm clutching at straws here, I feel.

Rev. Siuda just posted this on her public FB page.

FYI: House of Netjer beginners group invitations went out last week, but we are receiving reports that some applications were not received. If you sent an application before February 1 but didn't get a letter of acceptance or a note saying we don't have a place for you in this class...please re-send your application. I'm holding the class until next week so we can get this resolved. Many apologies!

and a great move by her, that should buy enough time for each of us to get it solved. Involving you, myself. (dang that sounds weird, get a different name XD)
